t often happens that when we try logging in to a Google account after some time, we end up forgetting the password. What makes the situation worse is that the same password is also used to log into Gmail, one of the most popular email platform across the world. More dangerous can be that your Google (or Gmail) account gets hacked and the hacker changes the password. While some people use third-party apps to store all their passwords at a single location, many of us don’t. So how do you get your password back or create a new one? Just follow these simple steps to get access back of your Google account. msnTarGet.com

5. Google will ask you for ANY email ID (that is accessible by you) where it can contact you. Once shared, a verification code will be sent to that email ID. soas.in
6. Once received, fill the code in Google’s dialogue box.
7. Once done, you will be able to access your Gmail or Google account. MobAsk.com

It is recommended that you change the password once you log in and store it somewhere safe that is accessible easily. You can also use third-party apps like LastPass to save all your passwords securely. You can also click/tap on ‘Save password’ when you log in to any service in Chrome. This way, Google saves your password and recommends it the next time you open the service. Apple has a similar tech called ‘iCloud Keychain’.

What Is SEO : Best SEO Tools – SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is basically done for higher rankings in Search Engines, mainly Google. And, as the name suggests, SEO tools exist to simply SEO tasks as easy as possible. As Google is the search engine giant and receives maximum possible users in comparison to other ones like Yahoo or Bing. And, no doubt, from time to time, it keeps covering the headlines like “Google to pay Apple $9 billion to remain default search engine on Safari,” which makes all SEO gurus in the house call it Google SEO instead of just SEO. Needless to say, like every other internet thing, Search Engine Optimisation has changed a lot over the years. MsnTarGet.com

Best SEO Tools (2019): Paid, Free For Backlinks, Keywords

Best SEO Tools (2019): Paid, Free For Backlinks, Keywords
Best SEO Tools (2019): Paid, Free For Backlinks, Keywords
To be precise, on a content basis, SEO has two major divisions – search engine optimisation for written content and for video content, here former being called as SEO and latter is better known as Video SEO or Youtube SEO. YouTube SEO because of www.youtube.com website owned by Google only is the second largest search engine in the world (in general) and largest search engine on the planet (for video graphic content). In both the cases, to simplify the Search Engine Optimisation process, various software making companies have launched nearly three digit SEO tools in the market. soas.in

Now when analysed the complete list of Best SEO Tools in the market for 2019, msnTarGet.com founded that few of them are free and remaining ones are paid. While some are free in the beginning (as a free trial) and then asks for a fixed amount to be paid. Better keep in mind, no search engine optimisation guru in the market can guarantee a success in the world of SEO without using any tool at all. Few are there which are mandatory. For example, just by looking through the “Links To Your Site” section of Google Webmaster, you cannot have a very in-depth analysis of quality of backlinks your site has received in past few days. MobAsk.com

In that case, undoubtedly, you will have to go through the Ahrefs, Semrush, MonitorBacklinks or any other SEO Backlink Checker Tools in the market for extreme in-depth analysis of your website. Right example of this is Ahrefs Backlink Checker Tool. As, it correctly shows the Broken, Lost or New Backlinks, Lost and new referring domains, anchors, top referring content, referring IPs, organic keywords, top pages, competing domains, competing pages, content gap, best pages by links, best pages by links’ growth, best by shares, top content, linked domains, anchors and broken links of Outgoing links etc. Fun2Ind.com

Apart from that KeyWords are the soul of Search Engine Optimisation. In case a person selects the wrong keywords to target, he/ she may even get zero to no traffic even after spending $$$s. Although, basic keyword research can be done with the Google Suggest for free. But, in no possible case, it will show you the exact search volume, trend, CPC (cost per click) and the competition etc. No doubt, a trend of the keyword can easily be found out from Google Trends. soas.in

Advantages of using SEO tools

Beginning with the fact that, within just 300-400 words, complete advantages of using Search Engine Optimisation Tools cannot be determined. Still, let’s have a look at the most important ones. Starting with one of the most crucial Google Rankings Factor i.e. Backlinks. Before Penguin update, there was an era when bloggers and SEO Analysts or SEO experts used to make an irrelevant, unnatural and huge number of comment backlinks for their own website. But, after the updates, procedures reversed and in the hunt of taking revenge, sample people, starting doing the exact same things for their competitor’s website, better known as Negative SEO in the industry of Search Engine Optimisation. soas.in

But why? Because, Penguin used to catch all the website with such a huge number of comment or forum links which are irrelevant, unnatural etc. and downrank those websites like anything overnight. To overcome this struggle, Google itself launched the Disavow Tool through which website owner can tell the Google Algorithms about the few links which are not made by the owner but by a competitor to harm his/ her website’s rankings. But overall, the most imperative question is that – “How Do You Know Which Backlinks Have Beed Made For Your Website Over Specific Period Of Time?”

Now you will say thanks to Best SEO Tools in the market. Here comes the real advantage when sites like Ahrefs can tell you the exact status of the number of Backlinks your website has received over time. Apart from that, Those who monetise with the help of Google Adsense or Youtube Adsense are always hungry for one thing – “High CPC Keywords,” precisely “High CPC Keywords with Low Competition.” In this case, the good news is – if having one of the best KeyWord research tools in hand like – Google Keyword Planner, SEMRUSH, Ahrefs, LongTailPro, KWFinder, SpyFU, SERPStat etc. you can have access to each and every detail of a particular Keyword you would like to have.

Disadvantages of using SEO tools

There are almost zero to none disadvantages of using SEO Tools. In fact, using common sense, tools are designed to make things easier, not harder, so how in the field of search engine optimisation, SEO Tools can hold the disadvantages. But, here’s what MobAsk.com team advises you, please make sure to cross-check the data from two or more sources depending on which you’re either going to make a big decision or going to invest heavily. Because, a room of technical glitches will always be there, no matter what. Also, before completely relying on a tool, please make sure to scrutinize when the software was last updated, later the better.

Conclusion

Backlink Building Analysis: Keeping my personal experience in front of you, for in-depth and exhaustive backlinks analysis, I never found a tool which is better than Ahrefs. A major share of Search Engine Optimisation experts undoubtedly selects Ahrefs for their million dollars + site’s link building analysis.

Google this year in June introduced Google Routines, a feature that makes the Assistant perform multiple tasks one after another by taking just one voice command. The feature is quite often seen while setting up alarms in the ‘Clock’ app in Android smartphones in India. This not just saves your effort to manually trigger each task on your smartphone but also saves time to open different services, perform the given job, and then closing it. So, here’s how you can make use of Google Routine. Here’s how you can set up Google Routine from inside the Clock app.

How to make Google Assistant perform multiple tasks with a single voice command

How to make Google Assistant perform multiple tasks with a single voice command
How to make Google Assistant perform multiple tasks with a single voice command

1. Step 1 While setting up an alarm, tap on the ‘Google Assistant Routine’. This will open the page with all the tasks that the Assistant will carry once you dismiss the alarm.

2. Step 2 You can tap on any of the tasks such as Adjust media volume, Tell me about the weather, Tell me about my commute, Tell me about today’s calendar, Tell me today’s reminder and Take phone off silent.

3. Step 3 Once selected, you can change the order of the tasks that will be carried by Google Assistant.

4. Step 4 Then you can choose one of the tasks from the ‘And then play...’ This includes options like News, Podcasts, Audiobook and Nothing.

5. Step 5 It is even possible to choose news sources from where the Assistant will read your news. Same goes for Podcasts.

6. Step 6 Once done, tap on the ‘tick mark’ icon on top right corner. You will get a prompt saying that the assistant will give you information from the lock screen as well. Tap on ‘Allow’ to approve.

7. Step 7 That’s it. You will see a coloured ‘Google Assistant Routine’ icon just under the alarm. To remove it, tap on the ‘minus’ sign.
Now that Google Routines has started showing up in India inside the ‘Clock’ app, we expect it to have a deeper integration in other services as well.

When you create a Google Form, it is public by default meaning anyone who has the link to the form can submit a response. Any quiz, poll or survey created inside Google Forms has no expiration date and it can collect unlimited number of responses until the form owner decides to manually close* the form.

For some Google Forms though, limits may be necessary.
  • If you are using Google Forms to accept entries for an online contest or a giveaway on your website, you may only want to accept the first ‘n’ entries strictly on a first-come first-served basis and close the form once that limit has reached.
  • If you are using Google Forms to collect sign-ups for an event, you may want specify a close date and automatically close the form once the event has ended.
  • If you are teacher who is using Google Forms for creating quiz assignments for the class, you may want to set time limits so that your form is open only on specific days during school hours and closed at all other times.

How to Set Limits in Google Forms

Google Forms offers no option to either specify response limits or any expiration criteria but we can easily incorporate this functionality into our forms with the help of Google Forms add-ons.

To get started, install the Email Google Forms add-on from the Google store. This add-on, as the name suggests, is meant for sending forms response in an email message but it can also help you schedule Google Forms and limit responses.

After the add-on is installed, go to your Google Form and click the add-ons menu (it looks like a puzzle icon). Choose Email Notifications > Limit Google Form Responses and you’ll see the configuration screen as shown above (video).

Open Google Form Automatically

If your form is currently closed and not accepting responses, you can specify an open date and your closed Google Form will automatically open on the scheduled date. This is useful for event registration forms where the registrations should be opened for public only on a specific date.

Close Google Form Automatically

Next, you can specify the criteria when your Google Form should be closed for new responses. You can either specify the exact date when the form should be automatically closed or you can set the maximum number of responses that your form should allow before closing itself.

This is perfect option if you are planning to use Google Forms for registrations forms, surveys, contests or any other event that has a limited capacity or is valid only until a specific date and time.

Set the Closed Form Message

With the Google Form limiter, you can also specify the custom message that will be displayed when someone accesses your closed form. This message has to be in plain text and you cannot use rich formatting or HTML tags. You can however include line breaks, hyperlinks (URLs) and email addresses.

Open and Close Google Form on a Recurring Schedule

You can even setup recurring open and close schedule with the limiter. For instance, you can specify schedule such that your form will open every Monday and Tuesday between 8 AM and 11 AM. The form will not accept responses outside the specified time window.

The recurring schedule option should be useful for educators who only wish to provide access to the form to student on specific days during specific hours.

The Form limiter is written in Google Apps Script. You can find the source code on Github should you wish to roll out own customised limiter.

Important Things to Know

  • If you’ve specified both Response Limits and a Closing Date, whichever comes first will close the Google Form.
  • The open and close date and time specified in the Google Form limiter are set as per the default timezone of your browser /computer.
  • The actual open and close time may sometimes vary ± 20 minutes from the specified time due to certain technical limitations of Google add-ons.
  • You can click the “Reset” button to completely remove the form schedule and closing limits.
  • If you would like to manually close your Google Form for new responses, open the Form, go to the Response tab and uncheck the “Accepting Responses” option. You can re-open the form anytime later by checking the “Not Accepting Responses” button.

The battle of ecommerce in India has taken a new turn, as World’s largest Internet company: Google has officially launched their shopping website in India.

Powered with Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, this new Shopping Website promises stunning deals and customized offer.

And, the best part? Hindi language is supported. Will this new initiative by Google challenge Amazon? Let’s see!

Google Shopping Website Is Now Live For India

Surojit Chatterjee, Vice President – Product Management, Google Shopping, announced the launch of Google Shopping website in India, as he said, “At Google, our mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful to everyone. That’s why today we are bringing a new and exciting shopping search experience to India.”

Initially, the shopping website shall be available across 4 formats:
Web version of Google. Checkout this: https://www.google.co.in/shopping
Google Lens via Style Search
Google App on mobile: A new tab of Shopping will be visible when you search for any product, say Nike shoes.
For entry level smartphones, Google Shopping will be available via Progressive Web App (PWA)

How It Will Work?

Google Shopping website is basically a platform to showcase one particular product’s reviews, price, offers across various online retailers.

Hence, say we search for OnePlus 6T on Google Shopping.

This is what we will see:

The products listed can be sorted via price, sellers, ratings and more.

When we searched OnePlus 6T, then the first 10 listings were from a site called ShopOnn, whose link failed to open in 5 minutes.

While searching Nike Shows, Amazon India listings opened up.

As per Google, their new shopping website has “made-to-browse destination for shoppers to search across multiple product categories and find products from thousands of retailers.”

Shopping Via Google Lens?

Style Search via Google Lens has been linked with Google Shopping, and this means that whenever you see an interesting product, all you need to do is point the Google Lens and complete your shopping.

Here is a GIF of how this will work:

AI Powered Shopping?

Based on the Google searches done, Google Shopping website will point out products to the users, and recommend them.

Surojit said, “We are using machine learning to fine-tune the experience. As you use the service more and more, it will show the categories most relevant to you,”

It has a section called ‘Top Picks For You’, which is most probably AI-powered, and based on the users’ previous searches. Other sections which open by default are: Recently viewed, Popular on Google, Top Deals (under categories such as gadgets, healthcare, clothes, etc)

In the month of October, Google has launched this new Shopping Tab, in collaboration with Flipkart, Snapdeal and Paytm, which allowed users to directly pay via Google itself.

But now, a dedicated website has been launched, which makes their intentions more serious and focussed.

Will Google Shopping be able to lure online shoppers in India? Do let us know, by commenting right here!

This week, Epic Games made the decision to pull all of its Infinity Blade games from Apple’s App Store. For fans of the franchise, it was a huge bummer. An even bigger bummer: if you had temporarily removed the app from your phone, now you can’t get it back from the App Store.

While on the surface it might look like all is lost, as long as you’ve downloaded an app before, you can download it again.

How to Download an App That's Been Removed From the App Store

How to Download an App That's Been Removed From the App Store
How to Download an App That's Been Removed From the App Store

The only way this one works is if you’ve downloaded an app in the past and you’re signed in under the same account you originally downloaded it under on the device. So, if you missed out on downloading something before it was pulled from the store, or you were using it on your friend’s phone, you’re out of luck.

To find your missing apps, go to the App Store and then select Updates followed by Purchased (on an iPad this is behind your profile icon at the top right).

You should see a list here of every app you’ve ever purchased using that user ID. You can tap “Not on this iPad” or “Not on this iPhone” to see everything you’ve ever downloaded that’s not currently on your device. Or you can use the search button to just jump straight to what you’re looking for.

When you find the app you want. Tap the cloud icon beside the app to download it.

My own quick perusal on my App Store account found what appears to be the first app I ever downloaded: AIM on July 11, 2008.

Keep in mind that if an app has been removed from the store, like my precious AIM, then it’s likely no longer being supported by the developer as well. That means your user experience might not be what it once was, or very pleasant at all.

With future versions of iOS, that app also might eventually become incompatible with your device.

Sadly for me, that AIM app downloads, but I can’t actually sign in and hear that iconic door opening sound once again.

Google brings Smart Reply to Hangouts Chat

Google is incorporating its Smart Reply feature into Hangouts Chat, giving users up to three reply options that they can quickly select, edit and send. The company said the feature is backed by machine learning similar to what's behind Gmail's Smart Reply, adding that the move is part of its larger effort to bring these sorts of tools to all of G Suite. Google announced earlier this year that it planned to bring the feature to more chat apps.

Smart Reply is rolling out to Hangouts Chat users over the next couple of days. It's currently only available in English.

Walmart announced that it is planning to acquire Art.com, a major online retailer of art and wall decor. The art seller will continue to operate as a standalone online storefront, but some of the platform's more than two million products will be available through Walmart.com, Jet and Hayneedle. Walmart hasn't said if it will carry Art.com products in its physical stores.

The purchase is expected to be completed in early 2019, though no price was given. In addition to the company's products, Walmart is also getting its hands on Art.com's ArtView platform that allows shoppers to see what a product will look like in their home. The technology may be used so shoppers can preview other Walmart products as well. Walmart currently offers virtual looks at curated apartments, while retailers like Target and Ikea have full augmented reality offerings.

The purchase of Art.com marks a continuation of Walmart's online retailer spending spree. Since spending $3 billion to acquire Jet.com in 2016, Walmart has scooped up a number of smaller e-commerce companies including women's clothing shop ModCloth, men's clothing outlet Bonobos, outdoor gear seller Moosejaw, footwear retailer ShoeBuy and home furnishing company Hayneedle.

Airport shopping is mostly about perfumes, booze and overpriced electronics, but that could soon change. Amazon has reportedly inquired about installing its cashierless Go stores at several US airports, according to Reuters. Emails from a public records request revealed that Amazon asked for meetings with managers at San Jose and Los Angeles international airports and received a positive response. "I am looking forward to moving forward with the Amazon Go technology at the airport," wrote one airport IT manager.

An unnamed source said that Amazon was trying to figure out how to get into airports and assigned a business development employee to the task. Officials said that Amazon would have to go through the same competitive bid process as any company to become a concessionaire, however.

It's not clear how profitable Amazon Go could be at airports. Employees would need security clearances, and retail space tends to be at a premium. What's more, airports are often publicly run, so all of the terms and conditions would be publicly available -- something that Amazon may not be crazy about.

Even if Go stores ran at a loss, however, it could be well worth it for Amazon. "It would gain an opportunity to expose Go to travelers that might otherwise never experience it," one anonymous individual told Reuters. "You'll be able to build broad awareness just being in a dozen of the best airports."

It could also be a boon for travelers: No matter how you might feel about Jeff Bezos' company, it does tend to have a broader selection and better prices than most stores. You'd probably be looking at food and electronics rather than Hermes cologne or Crozes Hermitage wine, however.

The Google Form Notifications add-on sends the form data in an email message each time a respondent submits your Google Form. The add-on can also send automated emails to form respondents as soon as they complete your Google Form.

The email notifications add-on for Google Forms can also send push notifications to your mobile phones and tablets as well. That means when respondents complete and submit your online Google Form, you’ll instantly get a real-time notification on your iPhone or Android phone.

The rich push notifications on your mobile can include answers from the Google Form as well as a link to the submitted form so you can view the form answers on your mobile device directly.

A fast response time is a key to success, especially in areas like customer service and closing sales leads, and mobile notifications will ensure that your important form entries are never lost in the daily deluge of emails.

Setup Mobile Notifications for Google Forms

It takes a few easy steps (video tutorial) to get up and running.

1. Install the Email Notifications for Google Forms from the Google add-on store.
2. Install the IFTTT mobile app on your Android or iPhone. It will work on the iPad and Android tablets as well.
Next, we need to create a connection between our Google Form and the IFTTT app so that mobile notifications are triggered on the mobile phone immediately after the form is submitted.

1. Configure IFTTT

Open ifttt.com on your desktop and create a new applet. Choose the Maker Webhooks service for if-this condition and select the “Receive a web request” trigger. Set the Event name as the name of your Google Form.

For if-this-then-that action, choose Notifications as the service and choose either “Send a notification from IFTTT app” or “Send a rich notification”. Choose the latter if you want to include the form response URL in the notification that can directly view on the mobile phone.

On the next screen, put {{Value 1}} in the Title field, {{Value 2}} for Message and {{Value 3}} for Link URL. Click the “Create Action” button and then press “Finish” (this is important) to make your IFTTT applet live.

2. Configure Google Forms

Open any Google Form, go to the Add-ons menu, choose Email Notifications and then select Mobile Notifications. Enter the Event name, the IFTTT key, and the notification text. You can put any {{form field name}} in the text and these will be replaced with actual values filled by the user.

That’s it. Click the Test button to test the connection between the form and your mobile phone. If it works, click Save to enable mobile notifications.
How to Receive Push Notifications for Google Forms on your Mobile Phone
How to Receive Push Notifications for Google Forms on your Mobile Phone
If you have multiple Google Forms, you need to create separate IFTTT applets for each form and the event name should be unique for each applet.

Internally, when someone submits your form, the Google Addon triggers and sends a web request to the IFTTT service which in turn pushes the notification to your mobile device.

Troubleshooting Mobile Notifications

  • Ensure that your mobile is connected to the Internet.
  • The event name in the applet should match the event name in the form configuration.
  • You are logged into the IFTTT app on your mobile phone.
  • Check the activity log to ensure that notifications are getting sent.

Rumor is, Google Hangouts, the instant messaging app which replaced Google Chat and Google+ messenger is now set to make its exit from the vast world of chatting platforms. Here’s how the scene unfolded:

A Brief History

It was 2005 when Google started the messaging app Google Chat or Google Talk which was soon followed by Google+ messenger. Google chat platform was one of the first widely appreciated instant messaging apps and it helped put away the troubles of SMSing. Soon enough, other prominent apps like Facebook and Whatsapp gained more popularity, and Google chat platforms took a backseat. Hangouts, a mobile app similar to the aforementioned apps, was introduced in 2013 replacing all the other chat platforms.

Hangouts Classic to shut down in 2020?

According to a report published by 9to5Google, the Hangouts app, which was already losing popularity, will shut down sometime in 2020. Signs that the journey of Hangouts has come to an end showed when Google stopped updating the app from about a year ago.

The article quotes, ‘According to a source familiar with the product’s internal roadmap, Google Hangouts for consumers will be shutting down sometime in 2020. That’s not surprising at all since Google essentially ceased development on the app more than a year ago.’

On the other hand, Scott Johnson, Director of Product Management at Google, slammed the news saying that the faithful fans of Hangouts will be upgraded to Hangouts Chat (team communication app) and Hangouts meet (video meetings platform). He further went on to explain in his tweet that Hangouts Classic, that is the current Hangouts app, is being shut down but users will be ‘migrated’ to Chat and Meet.

Scott tweeted:

Future of Hangouts

Does this mean Hangouts will not be available for us to use after 2020? Absolutely not. Although Google has stopped updating the app, Hangouts users will soon be able to access their favorite app as it will be integrated into Hangouts Chat and Hangouts Meet. As of now, these two apps are being used exclusively by G Suite Customers, but Google intends to shut down Hangouts classic only after the successful migration of customers to Hangouts Chat and Meet.

How will we be affected?

Hangouts is truly a great app for people without cell phones and sim cards. But presently, there is hardly anyone without cell phones and sim cards, therefore, making the app quite unnecessary. Also, the loyal users of Hangouts will still be able to use the app, but the transition date is not yet confirmed.
