गूगल को टक्कर देने के लिए माइक्रोसॉफ्ट अब कंपनी ने अब सर्च करने पर यूजर्स को पैसे देगी। बिंग सर्च इंजन यूज करने पर माइक्रोसॉफ्ट पॉइंट के तौर पर रिवॉर्ड देगा जिसे पैसे में तब्दील किया जा सकता है। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के रिवॉर्ड प्रोग्राम की शुरुआत के तहत यूजर्स को Bing से सर्च करने पर इनाम दिए जाएगा। हालांकि मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक अभी यह सुविधा सिर्फ यूनाइटेड किंगडम में ही लॉन्च होगी।
रिवॉर्ड पाने के लिए यूजर्स को अपने माइक्रोसॉफ्ट अकाउंट से बिंग में लॉगइन करना होगा। इतना ही नहीं, अगर यूजर्स माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के वेब ब्राउजर ऐज यूज करेंगे तो प्वॉइंट्स डबल हो जाएंगे। यानी माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने अपने ब्राउजर को भी एक पुश दिया है। लेवल 1 यूजर्स रोज 10 चीजें सर्च करके 60 पाइन्ट्स कमा सकेंगे। वहीं 500 पॉइन्ट्स तक पहुंचने पर आप लेवल 2 के मेंबर बन जाएंगे और रोड बिंग सर्च से 150 पाइन्ट्स कमा सकेंगे।
माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के मुताबिक बिंग पर किए गए सर्च कंप्यूटर और मोबाइल दोनों में किए जा सकते हैं। सर्च लिमिट हर दिन रिसेट किए जाएंगे यानी दूसरे दिन फिर से प्वॉइंट कलेक्ट किए जा सकते हैं। फिलहाल दुनिया भर में सर्च इंजन बाजार में 77.98 फीसदी शेयर के साथ गूगल नंबर-1 पर है। बिंग 7.8 फीसदी के साथ दूसरे नंबर पर है, जबकि चीन का सर्च इंजन Baidu तीसरे नंबर पर है।

We love WordPress, but it can also be frustrating sometimes when it doesn’t work flawlessly with another platform or integration. A lot of you are business owners and bloggers which have to deal with content creation for your sites on a regular basis. More often than not this is done via Google Docs because it is super easy for people to share drafts and collaborate in real-time for free. However, when it comes to moving from Google Docs to WordPress, this is where things get messy, as much of your formatting is lost or breaks. And it soon becomes a WordPress publisher’s nightmare. The Issue With Google Docs and WordPress
It is no question that Google Docs is probably one of the most popular platforms when it comes to online document sharing and editing. Microsoft Office 365 is really its only competitor. In fact, if we take a look at Google Trends for “Google Docs,” you can see that over the past 5 years interest around it has been steadily increasing. Google Docs is completely free to use and that is why it has become a popular tool for content creators, bloggers, and writers.

They put together the draft in a Google Doc and send you a link so you can take a look and approve it. Perhaps you make a few edits and then are ready to move it into your WordPress site. Typically you would simply copy and paste the contents from your Google Doc into the WordPress visual editor. But what happens, in reality, is that this results in all sorts of formatting issues. Below is an example Google Doc we are going to use. So we select all the content and copy it to our clipboard.

So basically you are left with a mess in your code. And even if you ignore the code, which you shouldn’t, you would still have the line breaks everywhere. On a 2,000+ document this is a lot of backspacing to be done to fix it. And your are still left with underlying code which really should be fixed. This is a huge waste of time. It can also affect your performance. Yes, it is at a very minimal level, but even HTML makes up your overall total page weight. So what can you do about it? Well, follow the tricks below. Note: It is important to know that Office 365 Word doesn’t have the same issue with span styles and font weight. However, it still has the spacing issues when copying across to the WordPress editor. Also, you might be wondering about images. Images don’t copy across either, but you should generally upload those separately anyways. Images should be compressed, as well as strategically naming the file for SEO purposes. That’s right, even image files names matter when it comes to SEO.

It’s kind of surprising that these issues are still happening 2017, and we are curious why they aren’t being discussed more in the WordPress community. We personally know a lot of you writers out there are using Google Docs. We use it as well. Thankfully, there are a few tricks you can use to make your workflow from Google Docs to WordPress less painful and streamlined.
1. Trick to Clear Formatting
The first little trick is a little weird, but it works, and involves a simple copy and paste a couple times along with utilizing the clear formatting button. Follow the steps below to get quickly clean up the formatting.

Step 1
Copy and paste the contents from Google Docs into your WordPress Visual Editor as normal. Select your text and copy it again to your clipboard.

It sounds weird, but create a new temporary blank post draft by clicking into “Add New” under posts in your dashboard. Then paste the content again from your first post that you just copied. When you paste this the second time it will automatically clean up the extra line breaks.

Then copy and paste the contents from your temporary draft back into your original post. Highlight all of the content and click on the “Clear formatting” button in the visual toolbar editor. This will remove the span styles, and font weights. This trick retains all of the headers (h1, H2, H3, etc.). The only thing it doesn’t retain is the bold. If you need to retain every 100%, then check out trick 2 and 3.

All it takes is a simple copy and paste a couple times and using the clear formatting button. For some of you, this may not matter that much. But for those of you who use both Google Docs and WordPress a lot, this might just be a lifesaver! We use this trick ourselves every day. When we originally went to find a solution we even were going as far as converting to Markdown and then moving back into WordPress. Little did we know, all it took was a simple copy and paste, plus clearing the formatting, which gets you to almost near perfect.
2. Use Wordable to Easily Move Google Docs to WordPress
The second option you have is to use a premium service called Wordable. This was actually created for the very problem we described above, and that is, there has not been a good solution to move Google Docs to WordPress. Basically with Wordable you can draft and collaborate in Google Docs as normal. When you are ready, there is a one-click button import to your WordPress site. It retains all your tags, headers, bold, bullets, italics, and even your images. They have a free plan which allows you to give it a try. It comes with unlimited free exports for 24 hours and 2 free exports after that. You can hook it up to one WordPress site. If you need more exports and the ability to export to multiple WordPress sites the premium version is $19/month. While this does sound costly, if you use Google Docs on a daily basis, this service definitely pays for itself. The two possible cons for some is that you have to give them access to your Google Drive as well as your WordPress site (with the plugin). This might be an issue for those concerned with security. We would personally love to see a 3rd party, standalone exporter. Follow the steps below on how to easily export from Google Docs to WordPress.

So if you instruct writers beforehand to name their images for SEO purposes, it will then follow through if you are exporting using Wordable. Otherwise, if they don’t. We would recommend re-uploading all of your images, which could be a pain.

As you can see, Wordable can be a very fast and effective option if you need something to export from Google Docs to WordPress and retain all the formatting.
3. Jetpack and Chrome Extension
Another solution is to use Jetpack, along with their free Chrome extension. One thing to be aware of though is that JetPack does add additional requests to your site, and it requires things such as XML-RPC and the JSON API to be enabled for it to function.

4. Give Writers a WordPress Account
The last option you have is to simply create WordPress accounts for your writers and require that they create everything entirely within the WordPress editor. For some, this might be a better solution, but there are also a lot of companies that don’t want to have to worry about managing author accounts. WordPress essentially contains six different user roles. For authors and writers you will probably want to choose one of the following, based upon what you want them to have access to:
Author: somebody who can publish and manage their own posts.
Contributor: somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them.
To create an account for a writer simply click on “Add New” under Users in your WordPress dashboard and assign the role you want them to have.
Give writer access to your siteYou could even take this a step further with a permissions plugin like the User Role Editor. But even with correct roles and permissions setup, letting more people access to your WordPress dashboard still weakens your overall security. Just make sure you are careful when adding accounts for people you don’t know.

Now here’s one government decision that all of us might be able to get behind. In its mission to give its Digital India initiative a much needed push, the government is contemplating putting petrol and diesel along with its various products on ecommerce platform.
Yes, this means, very soon you might no longer have to wait in those long, long petrol pump lines and waste your prestigious time. Just like online shopping for your clothes, electronics and grocery, you might soon be able to shop for petrol and diesel online.
Taking the podium at the recently concluded India Mobile Congress, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan revealed that his ministry plans on connecting oil with IT and telecommunications soon by putting all petroleum products on e-commerce platform.
It isn’t the first time that this particular idea was conceived. Media reports suggest that the idea was first shared by Pradhan at a consultative committee meeting of Members of Parliament in Srinagar on April 21st this year.
From statistics point of view, India is currently home to around 60,000 fuel retail outlets. The size of the entire petroleum industry comes out to be around a whopping Rs 6.5 lakh crore. On an average, 40 million consumers come to these retail outlets on a daily basis. If the government is successful in offering petrol and diesel online, it will ease a lot of daily pressure from these offline retail outlets.
But, is it feasible and safe to deliver popular fuels such as petrol and diesel via the internet? Number of industry weighed in on the issue and shared their viewpoints with IANS. While majority of them think that this is a highly feasible project, but all of them did point out their concern for safe handling of the liquids.
According to Deepak Mahurkar, leader, oil and gas at PricewaterhouseCoopers India, “It is technically feasible to offer petrol on e-commerce sites and later get it delivered at doorsteps. But it has to be sealed properly and should be handled in a delicate manner. The need for emergency supplies can be met through this channel. It may become a popular product in rural areas where for miles there are no fuel pumps.”
Not only rural areas, the move is expected to gain major traction in urban areas as well as currently there are few petrol pumps in the heart of many cities and urbanisation is taking place at a jet-speed rate.
Former ONGC Chairman and Managing Director R.S.Sharma, said, “It is a technically feasible project. It can become highly commercially scaleable model. But safety is a major concern.”
“Technically it is possible. But it has to have a proper dispensing norm. It needs to stick to the norms set by the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) to meet safety. Given the way retailing space is becoming precious, e-commerce route can be an alternative route,” said Anish De, Partner, infrastructure, government and healthcare and Leader, oil and gas, at KPMG in India.
In addition to the safety concerns pertaining to the mobility and delivery of the fuels, industry experts also expressed their concerns about the price at which these fuels will be sold on the ecommerce platforms. There are concerns that a service fee might be levied as fuel will be delivered to doorsteps. On the other hand, there’s also a possibility that big players in the fuel industry might even end up cutting the price, in hunger of grabbing a larger share of the market.
When Pininfarina’s Jason Castriota designed the gorgeous Maserati Gran Turismo it represented a return to form for the Modenese carmaker and put Maserati firmly back on the radars of exotic car buyers, with a Ferrari engine under the bonnet and better quality construction than ever before in the company’s century-long history.
Unfortunately Castriota (who is also known for the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and the Rolls-Royce Hyperion) designed the Maserati way back in the mid-2000’s for the model’s launch in 2007 where the Gran Turismo was first shown off at the Geneva motor show. Ten years later the car’s still doing duty on Maserati showroom floors the world over and refuses to give in – for example during the entire first quarter of this year the brand sold 54 Gran Turismos in the US. Not 54 thousand, obviously, not even 54 hundred. Just 54.
Over the entire decade-log run so far though, the company has actually managed to sell some 37,000 examples of the Gran Turismo models (if we include its drop-top sibling, the Gran Cabrio), and Maserati is persevering with the nameplate having just unveiled a slightly updated 2018 model, so it’s not over yet. At least not until the planned Maserati Alfieri, first seen at the 2014 Geneva motor show, comes along to replace it.
Before any of that however, before even the 2018 Gran Turismo reaches Middle Eastern shores, the Italian brand’s official UAE importer, Al Tayer Motors, has livened up the Maserati corner of the showroom in Dubai with the addition of the just-released ‘Special Edition’ model which is limited to 400 examples worldwide in Gran Turismo and Gran Cabrio form.
“The UAE is one of the few Middle East markets able to present a small number of units of this limited edition Gran Turismo to our Maserati aficionados,” said Hossam Hosni, Vice President of Maserati at Al Tayer Motors. “It is a rare opportunity to own a car with a classic design and now in a distinctive colour.”

Until now, WhatsApp allowed sharing such files as csv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls, xlsx and similar. The list of supported files was very limited and didn’t include any media files. Now, the company is reportedly rolling out the enhanced sharing feature to all its users. While this is great news, please note that the maximum size of the share is 128 MB for iOS, 100 MB for Android and 64 MB for a Web client. Those limits are pretty low, but WhatsApp may (or may not) increase them.
WhatsApp is experimenting with this feature only with some users at the moment. If it works for you, you’re fortunate. Otherwise, you can find similar functionality is available in the open-source alternative Telegram.

India skipper Mithali Raj set a new record by smashing seventh consecutive ODI half-century against England in an ICC Women's World Cup match at County Ground in Derby on Saturday.
India's top three — Smriti Mandhana, Punam Raut and Mithali Raj — all slammed half-centuries each as India posted a huge target of 281/3 in their tournament opener. Known for her flamboyant batting style, Indian women’s cricket team skipper Mithali Raj has scored heaps of runs in her international career. Mithali who was attending the opening dinner and media roundtable event came up with a perfect reply when a reporter asked about her favourite ‘male’ player.
Raj said, “Do you ask the same question to a male cricketer? Do you ask them who their favourite female cricketer is?” she said to the journalist in question. “I have always been asked who’s your favourite cricketer but you should ask them who their favourite female cricketer is.” Surely, it was not her willow but her words that were spot on.
Hailing BCCI’s effort to promote women’s cricket, the skipper appreciated the improvements made by the board in the last two home series.
“There’s a lot of difference because we are not a regular on television. Now the BCCI has made an effort that the last two home series have been televised and social media has improved a lot of it but there is a still a lot of catch-up to do in terms of recognition,” she said.
Talking about men’s cricket, Mithali said that it sets a certain bar where the women cricketers seek to reach.
“Men’s cricket sets the bar. We are always trying to reach where they set the standard. All of us follow men’s cricket because we want at some point that women’s cricket would be up there,” she said. “All of us at some point have been coached by a male cricketer. I strongly believe that they get a lot of intensity into the training sessions. They are very hard taskmasters.”
Mentioning about the role of coaches, Raj told that there should be someone who is tough task taskmaster so that the girls really put in the intensity in their training sessions.
“I believe that if you are representing your country, your country should get the best of the best. It’s nothing to do with women coaches [who] don’t have the ability, they do. but if you really want to push the team to the highest level, you need to have somebody who is a tough taskmaster so that the girls really put in the intensity in their training sessions and they carry that into the main tournaments.”

A fresh leak from Chinese microblogging site Weibo claims the next-gen Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 smartphones will feature two different processor chipsets. [ads-post]
A leaked Samsung internal message suggests the S9 will be powered by a 10nm chipset-based Exynos 9810 processor while the Note 9 will have a 7nm or 8nm chipset fabrication for the same Exynos processor.
With a slimmer die fabrication process, the Note 9 will be a relatively better handset than the S9 with reduced power consumption and better energy efficiency. Samsung was taken by surprise when Qualcomm decided to ditch its partnership and opted for TSMC built 7nm processor SoCs for next-gen Snapdragon processors.
Consequently, Samsung has opted out of its collaboration with Qualcomm to keep the 10nm-based chipsets in business and thereby averted potential monetary losses. The company is expected to mass produce either 7nm or 8nm SoCs for the Note 9 alone, instead of dumping the 10nm SoCs.
Earlier this year, Lenovo added its new Tab 4 series to the Tab lineup. Starting today, the Tab 4 8 and the Tab 4 10 is on pre-order in the US for $129.99 and $179.99 respectively.

Google Maps is not reliable in India, or at least that is what the Indian government sustains. According to Survey of India, a governmental agency designed to do the mapping and surveying of the countries’ territory, Google Earth and Google Maps are not accurate and have not been authenticated in India. The agency has designed a map for Indian citizens. It is free and approved by the government.

It is widely known that India and Cambodia have protested against Google Maps previously, for not accurately presenting their borders. Cambodia has also made allegations against Google with respect to their Thai-Cambodian border, which according to them was misleading and not accurate. Apart from the diplomatic issue, the Indian Government considers that these apps could be used to find a restaurant, but not other important buildings.
The web mapping service provided by the American corporation Google offers satellite images, panoramic views, analyses traffic conditions on the spot, has a route planning system and a street view option. You can download the Google Maps app on your phone and use it to go by car, by foot or by public transportation.
It is hard to say if Indian citizens will obey the Indian government and use their own created version of maps or they will continue to use Google Maps. According to them, the traffic system in India is very complex and therefore the topographic data need to be constructed with the help of engineers. Also they advertise that the maps made by Survey of India will be cost-free and reliable to all citizens. There are no explanations as to how the app will be updates and how often. The reactions online were not so positive and it seems that not many are thrilled with the Indian government’s requirement.
CLAYTON Oliver appears to be embracing suggestions he took a dive against West Coast on Sunday night.
Not only has the Melbourne midfielder changed his Twitter profile picture to shine a light on the incident, but he has also taken aim at Australian cricket great Damien Martyn.
Oliver copped an elbow to the chin from Eagle Will Schofield during a heated scuffle on Saturday evening and fell to ground, leading to suggestions that he dived.
Post-game, Oliver refused to concede that he acted.
Martyn, who is a West Coast supporter and played 67 Tests and 208 one-day internationals for Australia, lashed out at Oliver via social media, only for the second-year footballer to remind the 2003 World Cup winner of a moment he would rather forget.
Martyn was famously made the scapegoat in a painful five-run defeat to South Africa at the SCG in 1994, when he was the second last man dismissed in Australia’s unsuccessful pursuit of just 117.

The "Pac Man" touched down in Brisbane late Saturday from Manila with a large entourage for his WBO welterweight title bout at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane next weekend.

Ryan Reaves was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins by the St. Louis Blues on Friday for the No. 31 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft presented by adidas and forward Oskar Sundqvist.

After five days away from racing Jimmy Spithill's ORACLE TEAM USA’s fightback against Emirates Team New Zealand started in the worst possible style in Race Five, the team being handed a penalty for crossing the start line too early, allowing Peter Burling’s Emirates Team New Zealand to sail into a clear lead.
However, despite the setback, the American team responded spectacularly, closing the gap completely rounding the second gate before taking the lead in the first pass of the America’s Cup Match, presented by Louis Vuitton, on leg 3/7.
However, just as they had taken the lead, ORACLE TEAM USA were punished once again as the boats crossed for a second time on leg 3/7. Both teams appealed against the other but it was Jimmy Spithill who was penalised, his team having to fall two boat lengths behind his rival, effectively handing them the race victory.
To add insult to injury, the Defender’s pursuit of Emirates Team New Zealand was hampered even further as a poorly executed manoeuvre then saw them lose all momentum, allowing the Kiwis to sail well clear on leg 4/7.
The Kiwi team’s advantage stood at just over a minute at the fifth gate and by the time they crossed the finish line Emirates Team New Zealand were two minutes and four seconds ahead of their rivals, putting them 4-0 up at the end of race five.
Race Six
With the pressure mounting on Jimmy Spithill and ORACLE TEAM USA, they finally halted Emirates Team New Zealand’s charge, securing a timely and vital 11 second victory over the Kiwis in the sixth race of the America’s Cup Match, presented by Louis Vuitton, to cut the deficit to 4-1.
In contrast to the first race of the day, both teams crossed the start line cleanly, with ORACLE TEAM USA beating Emirates Team New Zealand to mark one for the very first time in the America’s Cup Match, presented by Louis Vuitton.
The lead then changed hands twice on leg two but it was Jimmy Spithill’s team which held a slender 12 second advantage at the third gate.
