Star Wars - The Last Jedi Review Roundup
Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ review roundup: Questions are answered, rules are broken : Two years after Star Wars was resurrected with The Force Awakens, we have our first sequel since Revenge of the Sith. Thankfully (at least based on the early reviews), it appears that the franchise has taken a welcome step forward under the direction of Rian Johnson, best known for Brick and Looper previous to this. After premiering earlier this week, the first reviews have flooded the internet this morning, and though there is some variance and a few naysayers, the overall reaction has been overwhelming positive. In general, reviewers say that The Last Jedi is a fresh start for the franchise that breaks plenty of rules while still respecting the universe. There are tons of reviews to check out all over the internet, but here are six to get a basic idea of the early reaction:
The Verge Tasha Robinson of The Verge was struck by how willingly The Last Jedi solved mysteries and answered questions:
It’s surprising how neatly and succinctly Last Jedi wraps up the open-ended stories — there are still plenty of details left to address about the new characters’ pasts, but the film answers the trilogy’s biggest questions to date with a directness that feels blunt and pointed: “You need to move on, and you can’t until you have your answers. So here are those answers.”
The Guardian For The Guardian, Peter Bradshaw noted that even the “muddled” story wasn’t enough to dilute the experience:
The Last Jedi gives you an explosive sugar rush of spectacle. It’s a film that buzzes with belief in itself and its own mythic universe – a euphoric certainty that I think no other movie franchise has. And there is no provisional hesitation or energy dip of the sort that might have been expected between episodes seven and nine. What there is, admittedly, is an anticlimactic narrative muddle in the military story, but this is not much of a flaw considering the tidal wave of energy and emotion that crashes out of the screen in the final five minutes. It’s impossible not to be swept away.
Variety As did many others, Variety’s Peter Debruge noticed that The Last Jedi has a surprising sense of humor:
Revealed as a bearded and cloaked recluse at the end of “The Force Awakens,” Luke is funnier than we’ve ever seen him — a personality change that betrays how “Star Wars” has been influenced by industry trends. Though the series has always been self-aware enough to crack jokes, it now gives in to the same winking self-parody that is poisoning other franchises of late, from the Marvel movies to “Pirates of the Caribbean.” But it begs the question: If movies can’t take themselves seriously, why should audiences?
BBC Writing for the BBC, Nicholas Barber highlights the similarities between The Last Jedi and Empire Strike Back:
Echoing The Empire Strikes Back, The Last Jedi opens with the baddies’ heavy artillery turning a rebel base into a firework display. A zippy dogfight follows, and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) is established as an insubordinate hothead who is frowned upon by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and her purple-haired right-hand woman Admiral Holdo (Laura Dern). The plot then splits into two strands, exactly as the plot of The Empire Strikes Back did.
USA Today In his review for USA Today, Brian Truitt points to two standout performances that gave the movie weight:
The Last Jedi is Driver’s to rule as much as Force Awakens was Ridley’s, and he’s awesome in it — Kylo is blockbuster cinema’s most magnetic and unpredictable antagonist since Heath Ledger’s Dark Knight Joker. Just as good is the original Star Wars hero: Hamill lends gravitas, warmth, power and even humility to old Luke in a memorable performance.
CNN Finally, CNN broke with the crowd, calling The Last Jedi “unsatisfying” and many of the new characters “disposable”:
Carrie Fisher’s death last year serves as a somber footnote to the movie, and beyond her warming presence, there’s a lovely dedication to her in the closing credits. What precedes that overall, alas, represents a creative step back, not a leap forward. Optimistically, “The Last Jedi” leaves plenty of intriguing possibilities for the climactic installment. But there’s also the kind of room for improvement that remind us when it comes to “Star Wars,” such hopes — new or otherwise — spring eternal.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will release in theaters this Friday, December 15th.

Sathya movie review: This Sibiraj and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar film is a gripping tale
Sathya movie cast: Sibi Sathyaraj, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Remya Nambeesan
Sathya movie director: Pradeep Krishnamoorthi
Sathya movie rating: 3 stars (Click Here For Download)
It is the classic case of remake-citis. Every remake is bound to be accompanied by side-effects, a round of comparisons. This week seems to be the remake week as the Tamil versions of two major hits from other languages, Kshanam (Telugu) and Ulidavaru Kandante (Richie) are hitting the screens. The biggest advantage I had in watching Sibiraj’s Sathya, the remake of Kshanam, was that I was new to the film. However, after saying that, Sathya is a gripping tale that doesn’t compromise on the narrative keeping you invested till the end. Accompanied by some great music and apt performances, Sathya is a good comeback vehicle for Sibiraj after the tepid Kattapava Kanom.
Sathya (Sibiraj) gets a call from his ex-girlfriend seeking a favour after four years. He travels to India to meet her and finds out that her daughter is missing. Was the girl kidnapped? Did she exist in the first place? These are some of the questions he seeks to find the answer for. The screenplay is gripping, shouldered by Sibiraj. The heavy-bearded look suits the actor; he looks good as the eponymous Sathya and delivers a satisfactory performance, barring a few places where he looks stiff. Varalakshmi is a good addition. After Thara Thappattai, Vikram Vedha, Nibunan and now Sathya, we can safely say that Varalakshmi has become the face of Kollywood’s definition of a ‘bold’ woman. It made me wonder how it would be to see her in a role that (doesn’t show her in a position of strength; something like Ramya Nambeesan’s role in this film. Some food for thought)
Conversational humour in Sathya is on dot, thanks to convincingly natural dialogues. While it is tough to buy Yogi Babu as an NRI corporate employee, it is impossible to not laugh when Sibi says “Enaku nadika varathu” and he responds “Adhan ooruke theriyume!”. Anand Raj’s dialogues are another great example, especially when he goes, “Arai bodhai naaye” in an interrogation scene. The no pretence dialogues aids a tight screenplay that doesn’t let you look away. Sathya’s narrative doesn’t compromise much; it diligently sticks to its objective as thrillers should.
I had liked Simon K King’s feel-good “Vizhiyile” in Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu, but “Yavvana” in Sathya is pure joy. So is grungy “Sangu” sung by the music composer himself. Sathya’s music aids the high-paced drama well and should definitely open up more doors for Simon.
Without the baggage of being a remake, Sathya is a solid thriller. It does all it can to satisfy the expectations of a pair of fresh eyes. The question to ponder upon is how faithful should remakes be. There are two sides to it — why fix something that is already good and on the other hand, if it is good enough why remake it? A discussion for the future, I guess.

Richie movie review: This Nivin Pauly starrer works in parts
Richie movie cast: Nivin Pauly, Natarajan Subramaniam, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Prakash Raj
Richie movie director: Gautham Ramachandran
Richie movie rating: 2.5 stars
There is a scene where Richie and his father (Prakash Raj) are having a conversation at the church. Prakash Raj is a pastor and Nivin waits for him to step out, his profile perfectly aligned with the spine of the Cross. As Prakash Raj steps in, they take the opposite sides of the cross — Ritchie on the right (pun intended). The scene, for me, is a clear example of the tone Richie takes, in contrast with Ulidavaru Kandante. While essentially both films document the story, Richie is a detailed version of Ulidavaru Kandante. There are several new angles added to the story in form of explanations as to why the characters do what they do. Unfortunately, they don’t sit well with the chaos the narrative style generates. The clash between wanting to be sure the audience understand everything and to also have a convoluted narrative dampens Richie’s effectiveness; something I had loved about the original.
Another major difference is how both films treat their characters. Richie’s characters are much more fleshed out; especially its titular role. While Rakshit Shetty’s version saw Richie accept his ‘professional rowdy’ tag easily. He embraces it with open hands rather. On the other hand, Gautham’s version sees a Richie who seems to repent the life that he could have had. A change that weaves in a stronger emotional conundrum, making the movie more complicated than what it is. The plot change also brings a philosophical angle of forgiveness. Maybe it was done because Nivin is essaying the lead role; that we had to sympathise his struggle. Or maybe not. The fact is that Richie’s story goes beyond the original, a trait that is admirable in remakes.
Promoting Richie as a Nivin Pauly film might be counterproductive for the film, especially with Nivin’s fans who might have expected to see more of their star. Rakshit Shetty wasn’t the star he is now, at the time of Ulidavaru Kandante. For the kind of star power Nivin has in Tamil, the screen time the story gives him is limited. His fans would expect more. It is a daring choice taken by the actor and he makes the best use of it. Nivin definitely looks the part. It is the dubbing that doesn’t sound quite right. Despite the effort, we can sense that the words don’t roll of Richie’s tongue as easily as it should for a don. Nevertheless, it’s a good debut for the actor.
The staging and lighting in Richie, however, is remarkable. The film’s dominant red shades in its lighting; hues and colours that aren’t natural but gel well into the frame. The shades make Richie look slightly exotic, giving a comic book feel to the movie. Richie sounds the same as its predecessor, thanks to retaining Ajaneesh Lokanath’s work. As it does in the original, the music further adds Nivin’s swagger on screen.
Effects of remake-citis are bound to affect Richie as well. Comparisons are unavoidable. Which brings me back to question, do remakes need to be faithful? Are we okay when things are changed about the movie we like?

Dil Diyan Gallan - Tiger Zinda Hai

They always look great together and Salman fan’s wanted to see this for a long time. Tiger Zinda Hai Trailer - Salman and Katrina
Tiger Zinda Hai trailer: From the look of the Tiger Zinda Hai trailer, the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer promises to be as good as any big budgeted Hollywood actioner. Meanwhile, enjoy the trailer that presents Salman the way we have been waiting to see him. Watch Tiger Zinda Hai Trailer:
The first trailer for Salman Khan’s action thriller Tiger Zinda Hai was released online on Tuesday. Salman returns as Tiger, a spy on a mission to save nurses being held hostage in Iraq by an evil dictator. Shot in exotic locations, and boasting Hollywood-standard action, the trailer highlights the attention to detail that has gone into making the film. Salman and his co-star from the first film (2012’s Ek Tha Tiger), Katrina Kaif, return on a joint mission to evacuate the hostages. There are shades of the recent Akshay Kumar film Airlift - which featured a similar plot and was set in the Middle East - and there is also some of the globe-trotting that we see in the Jason Bourne movies. In one sequence we also see Salman skateboarding in the mountains - like Vin Diesel in the xXx movies. All this goes to show the ambitions of the filmmakers into making a world-class film. The action and the plot (for once) are clearly spelled out in the trailer, and the stars - Salman and Katrina - have been given moments to shine. Speaking about Salman’s gun training for the film, director Ali Abbas Zafar explained in a press statement, “When you feature a superstar like Salman Khan, who is known to pull his weight for a film’s action, you need to have weaponry that suits his stature and also fit in with the scale of Tiger Zinda Hai.“In this film, Zoya plays a super spy. It was essential to understand how such agents think and operate. So, we got Katrina to train with real agents, used their expertise and experience. For instance, as intelligence agents, you have to train a certain way to keep your mental balance in direst situations. Say you face someone who has a gun and you don’t. How do you still stay neutral and calm, and figure out the best possible way to counter and survive in such a situation. Katrina has really pushed herself for the part,” Zafar said in a press statement. The film’s action director is Tom Struthers, who’s best known for his work on Christopher Nolan’s films Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception and Dunkirk. Tiger Zinda Hai is scheduled for a December 22 release. After Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman and Zafar will collaborate again on Bharat, an adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. To be produced by Salman’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri. The film will be shot in Abu Dhabi, Spain and India and will go on floors in April next year.

'बादशाहो' के गाने की रिलीज से पहले सनी लियोन और इमरान हाशमी का लुक...baadshaho song piya more launch sunny leone emraan hashmi on twitter banter

If you’re wondering how Steven Spielberg will bring the dystopian, VR-heavy world of Ready Player One to life, you can get your first real glimpse in the trailer (technically, a teaser for San Diego Comic Con) above.
The film is based on Ernest Cline’s novel — a book that’s been recommend to me many times as one of the best depictions of virtual reality and gaming in fiction. (Sorry, I still haven’t read it!)
One of the story’s main elements is a virtual world called OASIS. What we see of OASIS in the trailer might not feel terribly visually distinctive, but it certainly looks fun and flashy, throwing together a hodgepodge of pop culture references.
I also laughed a couple of times at the marketing-speak, which is overhyped even by the standards of movie trailers. Spielberg isn’t just an award-winning director, he’s a “cinematic game-changer.” Ready Player One isn’t just a popular book, it’s a “holy grail of pop culture.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spielberg discussed the film at Comic Con, where he described it as “the most amazing flash-forward and flashback at the same time about a decade I was very involved in, the ’80s, and a flash-forward to a future that is awaiting all of us, whether we like it or not.”
Anyway, despite my reservations, I’m feeling hopeful about this. It’s Spielberg, you know?  And aside from The Matrix, the bar for VR-in-film is pretty low.
Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan as Wade Watts, with a script by Cline and Zak Penn. It’s scheduled to open on March 30, 2018.

'Baadshaho' Has Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi & Sunny Leone Setting The Screen On FireThe teaser of the much-awaited film ‘Baadshaho' is out and actor Ajay Devgn is back to sweep us off our feet, after winning our hearts earlier with his stellar performance in ‘Shivaay'. Set during the 1975 emergency, this movie revolves around ‘6 badasses' who take advantage of this situation to pull off a heist worth millions in gold and change their lives forever. For those who failed to notice (although, we wonder if there is anyone who missed it), the movie also features Sunny Leone and sparks will surely fly once you watch her share the screen with Emraan Hashmi.
Milan Luthria’s gangster saga, Baadshaho, revealed the six badasses of the film via the character posters — Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Sanjai Mishra. They didn’t tell us that there would be Sunny Leone too, not that we are complaining. For if this thrill ride needed a little more buzz, Ms Leone is here to provide it. Now, to cut to the chase, literally, our six characters are in a dusty — but definitely not boring — little town of India even as the Emergency is proclaimed and scores sent behind the bars. What comes as a calamity to many is an opportunity for the others and it is such an opportunity that Ajay Devgn and his rather impressive bunch has found.
Ajay Devgn's rugged look and spot on Haryanvi accent is an intriguing takeaway from this teaser and has compelled us to look forward to its release. He will be joined by Ileana D'Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jamwal, Sanjay Mishra and Esha Gupta, and together they will redefine badassery for this entire generation, by looting gold from under the nose of the army.

Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi, who earlier worked together in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai', will play gangsters in this movie too, and in all honesty, we are dying to see the two recreate that magic. Esha Gupta and Ileana D'Cruz look stunning and it's a pleasant surprise to see them in a bold avatar. Vidyut Jamwal on the other hand, looked every bit the fearsome individual he is. If you feel that these aren't reasons enough for you to head to the movie theatre, the fact that Sanjay Mishra is a part of this brilliant star cast will definitely compel you to go. This movie is the directorial venture of Milan Luthria and is slated to release on September 1st. Check out the teaser below.

They plan to take advantage of the chaos caused by Emergency and loot the gold reserve that is being transported from one city to another from under the nose of an elite army. In the short teaser, we meet Ajay Devgn as a gangster who speaks Haryanvi and after hearing his perfect accent, we are impressed already. And since it is a gangster saga starring Ajay Devgn, how would have the makers of the film not show us vehicles doing somersaults on the ground and off it?

In the posters, Ajay Devgn was introduced as a ‘badass in bandana’ and as he introduced his ‘badass brother’ Emraan Hashmi, we were made to believe that the Once Upon Time in Mumbaai duo has a spicy thriller in the offing. But what we didn’t know was, Emraan’s sizzling hot scenes with none other than Sunny Leone who has a cameo in the film. And if Emraan’s hot scenes were not enough to make the film an interesting ride for the movie buffs, we also get a glimpse of the chemistry between Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz who are sharing the screen for the first time.
Until now we only had the words “1975 Emergency… 96 hours… 600km… 1 Armored truck… Millions in Gold and 6 BADASSES,” to set the ground for the story of the film and now in the teaser, the footage from the real incident, where Indira Gandhi is seen signing the papers and army is taking the charge of the situation in the country is adding to the authenticity of the film.

Salman Khan, In A Tiger Zinda Hai StillFilmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar delighted everyone on social media by sharing a picture of Salman Khan on the sets of his next film Tiger Zinda Hai, co-starring Katrina Kaif. The photograph posted by the 37-year-old director has Salman’s back to the camera. “When you see a picture from @TigerZindaHai and say ‘please Palto Na‘,” tweeted Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman Khan’s fan clubs have also been sharing various pictures and videos of the 51-year-old actor from the sets of the film. Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to Salman and Katrina’s 2012 movie Ek Tha Tiger, which was directed by Kabir Khan.

Recently, Ali Abbas Zafar shared a video in which Salman Khan is seen horse-riding training.
Another video shared by the director gave us a glimpse of an action sequence featuring Salman Khan.
Tiger Zinda Hai marks Salman Khan’s second collaboration with Ali Abbas Zafar after 2016 hit film Sultan.

In the film, Salman will reprise the role of an Indian intelligence office Avinash Rathore aka Tiger.

Tiger Zinda Hai is scheduled to release on theatres in December this year.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan was last seen in Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, co-starring Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu and late actor Om Puri. The movie failed the audience and tanked at the box office.

In a recent interview with news agency PTI, Kabir Khan said that he was ‘disappointed’ with Tubelight‘s box-office result.

“I am disappointed. You make a film with a lot of love and conviction and if it doesn’t do well the way it was expected to do, it’s disheartening,” PTI quoted Kabir Khan as saying.

Salman Khan will also be seen doing a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s next film, directed by Aanand L Rai.

Jab Harry Met Sejal trailer: Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma are two lost souls in search of loveThis famous Rumi quote makes the central thread of Imtiaz Ali’s next, Jab Harry Met Sejal, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
Though the film’s long teaser and songs are already out and film enthusiasts know about the film’s backdrop, still the makers have released a new 3-minute trailer.
It features Shah Rukh Khan as tour guide Harinder Singh Nehra who is slowly falling for a Gujarati tourist Sejal (Anushka Sharma). The twist in the tale is that Sejal is already engaged to somebody and seems like a traditional homely girl.
Watch Jab Harry Met Sejal trailer

Anushka is seen looking for a ring even as SRK tries to convince her against it. It is quite possible that the movie revolves around Anushka’s search for the ring.

They begin to know each other through friendly banters and beautiful locales till the day of her return arrives.

We have seen similar plots in Imtiaz Ali’s previous films, so nothing comes as a shocker, but Shah Rukh and Anushka’s comfort level with each other gives the trailer a much desired flow.

The film was shot in Budapest, Punjab and Prague. Shah Rukh and Anushka earlier worked together in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Jab Harry Met Sejal trailer: Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma look so much in love – view pics

Finally after teasing us to the bone with mini trails and many songs, the trailer of Jab Harry Met Sejal will be finally out today. We can’t tell you how excited we are about it and to make the wait doubly exciting for you, we have two EXCLUSIVE stills from the trailer of the film which say a lot about the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. You can see they look lost in love and at one point, SRK looks at Anushka with that intense gaze which says that his heart is falling for this crazy Sejal.
We told you already that Shah Rukh Khan who is chilling in LA with his family and will join the team here today at the trailer launch via video conference. This is probably the first time that SRK will not be part of such an important event of his upcoming film. We will surely miss him because the actor personally makes sure that media is attended well at his films’ events. Such kindness is very rare at other events. But we are glad that the trailer is finally coming out.
The Jab Harry Met Sejal trailer will tell us a bit more about the characters – Harinder Singh Nehra (Shah Rukh Khan) and Sejal Jhaveri (Anushka Sharma) and their quest to find her missing engagement ring. How they realise a lot of things during the journey and fall in love with each other forms the rest of the story. The film will release on August 4. The film will hit movie halls on August 4.

Watch the new trailer for Blade Runner 2049
The sequel to Blade Runner is arriving in theaters on October 6, thirty years after the original, and the latest trailer sheds a lot more light on the story and what’s happened in the intervening decades. This trailer gives us a lot of good Jared Leto time (and he’s definitely a creepy big bad), plus a scene with Dave Bautista doing a good job of not getting typecast as Drax.

This is also another look at the environments and cinematography used in the Blade Runnersequel, which comes off just as impressive as it has in previous stills and video. Nothing I’ve seen so far has me expecting anything short of a great movie from Blade Runner 2049, and the balancing act of recreating the feel of a 30-year-old movie while keeping it modern looks amazing.

Kingdom Hearts 3 gets a new trailer and its first Pixar-based worldDisney held their annual D23 Expo where they unveil new movies, individual properties and even some KINGDOM HEARTS III screens and footage. This time around, Sora, Donald and Goofy find themselves expanding beyond classic Disney films and reaching into Pixar. Not just any old Pixar film, but the first of its kind, Toy Story.
Kingdom Hearts 3, the long awaited third major installment in the epic Final Fantasy and Disney crossover RPG series, finally has a release date, although it remains somewhat ambiguous for now. At the conclusion of a new Toy Story-themed trailer of the game shown off at Disney’s D23 expo today, developer Square Enix revealed that the game would indeed be coming out in 2018. Even better news: from the footage shown off of Sora and pals Donald and Goofy teaming up with Woody and Buzz Lightyear, the game looks fantastic, with an even deeper and zanier battle system and ultra-polished visuals.
Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story debuted back in 1995 and made a huge impact as the company’s first feature-length CGI film. Being a box office success, characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear have become the face of the franchise. Seeing that the Kingdom Hearts series is essentially a cross breed of Final Fantasy and Disney characters, it only makes sense to have Sora and the gang meet the toys. Check out the trailer below.

Disney and Square Enix debuted new Kingdom Hearts 3 details at this year’s D23 conference. That includes a new trailer, above, as well as a brand new world featured in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game.

The presentation kicked off with Kingdom Hearts 3’s E3 2017 trailer, which gave us our first fresh look at the game in some time when Square Enix premiered it in June. Director Tetsuya Nomura then arrived to help introduce the new content during Disney’s gaming-focused panel, streamed live this afternoon.
The news should overjoy Kingdom Hearts fans would’ve waited nearly 13 years for a sequel to the second major game in the series. It should also assuage the fears of those dreading the worst: that the game would simply never make it out of development hell, or in a worst case scenario get canned for good. But Square Enix — which wrapped up long and tortuous development cycle for Final Fantasy XV, its other highly anticipated RPG — appears better equipped to get its most anticipated titles out the door at last.
A trailer showed our hero, Sora, taking on various Heartless in an action-packed montage. But the action soon faded out to a much slower-paced scene: Sora, Donald and Goofy arriving in the world of Toy Story. Buzz Lightyear and Woody helped explain the Heartless problem plaguing Andy’s bedroom, joined by other toys like Hamm the piggy bank and Rex the dinosaur. They later ventured just outside of the home to take on toy-sized Heartless — and even visited a toy store, where Sora got to jump into a mech action figure for a different kind of combat.

We even get a brief appearance from Organization XIII, the primary antagonists of the game. The whole scenario will feature an original story set in the Toy Story universe, as members of the team from Pixar explained during the panel. Even John Lasseter, head of the animation studio, got involved with the film’s Kingdom Hearts debut.

This marks Pixar’s introduction into the Disney-crossover series. Disney officially purchased Pixar in 2006, just after the release of our last mainline Kingdom Hearts game. Whether Toy Story will be joined by other Pixar classics remains unannounced, but Pixar’s first feature film is an excellent choice for the Kingdom Hearts franchise as it is.

Other new worlds in Kingdom Hearts 3 include those inspired by Big Hero 6 and Tangled, two much more recent Disney animated features. Square Enix announced the Big Hero 6world two years ago, during 2015’s D23 event.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch in 2018.

The First Footage From Avengers: Infinity War Blows Away Even Your Wildest ExpectationsMarvel Studios just showed a huge chunk of footage from Avengers: Infinity War at the D23 Expo and there almost aren’t words for it. But we’re going to try.

The footage began with probably a two-minute intro of footage from the first several movies, all focusing on the Infinity Stones we’ve seen so far. Then, the Marvel Studios logo, and on to the new stuff.
With Avengers: Infinity War, all that has come before will implode into two huge blockbusters (including the as-yet-untitled fourth Avengers).
At Disney’s fan convention over the weekend, D23, some footage from the upcoming Russo-brother directed film was shown, descriptions of which have reached the Internet (still no footage).
According to io9, Marvel started by playing a quick recap of where all the Infinity Stones have come from, featuring footage from previously released films.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are flying around. “Put on your mean faces,” Star-Lord says, because he expects something nasty. There has been crazy destruction, and then a body smashes up against their ship. “Get it away,” Rocket says. They bring the body in and it’s Thor. (Spoilers for Ragnarok, we guess?) Mantis wakes him up and Thor jumps up and exclaims “Who the hell are you guys?”

Next we see the Guardians with Thor, flying to another planet, and when they arrive—again, it’s just massive destruction again. They all know something is very wrong.

Cut to Earth. Scarlet Witch is moving around some cars or something and a female voiceover says “Death follows him like a shadow.” Loki emerges and presents the Tesseract to someone who is taller than him.

Cut to Queens and the hairs on the arm of a young Peter Parker stand up on end. He turns around in fear and we see a ship flying toward a planet we assume is Earth. “We have one advantage,” Tony Stark says. “He’s coming to us.” As the ship crashes, we see Mantis, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Doctor Strange, and a few others characters in total shock.

“Fun really isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe,” a voice says. Gamora turns around in total horror. “But this puts a smile on my face.” Star-Lord: “Oh no.” And out of a black hole emerges the purple madman, Thanos.
Marvel's Kevin Feige brought out a giant stable of talent to introduce the trailer: Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and co-director Joe Russo.
The trailer — screened exclusively for attendees and was not released online — begins with the Guardians of the Galaxy on their ship, floating through a creepy section of space. Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) tells his crew to put on their "mean faces" because things could get dangerous. Suddenly, a body hits their spaceship. It's an unconscious Thor (Hemsworth), wearing his gladiator garb from Thor: Ragnarok (smart money is on the end of November's Ragnarok leading directly into 2018's Infinity War). They bring him inside the ship, and Mantis (Klementieff) wakes him up.
A fight begins. Doctor Strange is putting down platforms and Star-Lord is jumping off them, shooting his guns. Cut to Spider-Man, in his new suit revealed at the end of Homecoming, jumping through the air. A shot of Vision behind bars. A shot of a Wakandan army which includes Bucky. Captain America comes out of shadows with a full beard. Black Widow is shown with blonde hair. Iron Man has new, very sleek armor. Someone is using the Hulkbuster armor. Just a huge montage of shots.

Peter Parker is on the ground very hurt. “I’m sorry Tony,” he says behind tears with Iron Man holding his head. Thanos grabs Thor’s head and squeezes. Then Thanos, in the heat of battle with the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand, uses the power of the two stones he has (Purple and Blue, I think) to grab a moon. He starts to drag it toward whatever planet everyone is standing on. The debris starts to fly and... cut to title card.

Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018.
