Oppo F7 Leak Reveals MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, 6GB RAM, 16-Megapixel Rear Camera, and More
Oppo F7 specifications have surfaced online days ahead of its launch in India that is scheduled for March 26. The new development sits alongside the key features and specifications that Oppo revealed officially late last week. It has been spotted that the Oppo F7 is powered by a MediaTek processor and come with tons of AI-based selfie enhancements. The upcoming smartphone is expected to sport an iPhone X-like notch and a near-bezel-less display.
It will be the second smartphone with a notch launching in India in a week, after the Vivo 9 was unveiled in the country earlier today. The specifications of the Oppo F7 have been leaked through a sales pitch manual, as reported by Smartprix. The smartphone appears to have an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2GHz, paired with Mali-G72MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM.
The sales pitch manual also states that the handset has a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with an automatic scene recognition feature. The camera sensor comes with an f/2.0 aperture lens on top and supports 4K video recording as well as uses a dual-tone LED flash. Further, there is a 3400mAh battery that is touted to last for up to 15 hours on a single charge. On the software front, the Oppo F7 appears to run ColorOS 5.0 with features such as facial unlock and screen recording.
There is also a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS, as mentioned by Smartprix. The sales pitch manual also highlights the 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) Super Full Screen panel of the Oppo F7 that has 19:9 aspect ratio. It also specifies the 25-megapixel selfie camera on the smartphone with features such as AI selfie, AI Beauty, and Real-time HDR. Similarly, there are Cover Shot and AR stickers.
It is worth noting here that these last details were already confirmed by Oppo in a press note last week. The company also revealed that the handset will support gestures and have an App-in-App view for an enhanced multitasking experience. Neither the newly leaked sales pitch manual nor the previously released official press note has confirmed the price and availability details of the Oppo F7. Therefore, we need to wait for the official launch to get all such information.

OPPO R15 with Sony IMX519 Sensor Confirmed to Launch on March 31st
OPPO is long rumored to launch the successors to OPPO R11 and R11 Plus smartphones. While we all expected to soon see the launch of OPPO R13 smartphones, the company has officially confirmed to launch the OPPO R15 smartphones as the successors to OPPO R11 smartphones. Apart from teasing the devices, OPPO also released a TVC featuring the new ambassador for the OPPO R15 smartphones.
OPPO Teases R15 & R15 Plus Smartphones with iPhone X-like Notch Firstly, these new devices come with the iPhone X-like notch on the top of the display. Even this has become a trend at the MWC 2018, where most of the smartphones seen with the similar looking notch. Apart from the notch on the top, there is also thin bezel on the top of the display. At the bottom, we can also see a comparatively thick bezel. Though the OPPO R15 and R15 Plus come in different screen sizes, they mostly share the same specs and design. On the rear, the OPPO R13 smartphones look similar to their predecessors with dual cameras on the top left corner and oval-shaped fingerprint sensor in the middle. The full-screen display on the front should be featuring AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution.
Unlike the Vivo, OPPO is not yet using the new under display fingerprint scanning technology. Based on few leaks, both these devices will mostly come powered by the newly announced MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor. This processor includes four high-performance Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. It comes coupled with Mali G72 MP3 GPU. However, we expect to see the new Snapdragon 600-series or 700-series processor inside these devices. I’m going to take a wild guess here and say the OPPO R15 might be launched as the OPPO F7 in India.
OPPO R15 Plus with AMOLED Display & 20MP Selfie Camera Listed on TENAA OPPO has started promoting the upcoming OPPO R15 & R15 Plus smartphone starting early March. Now, a new OPPO smartphone with the model number PACM00 is listed on TENAA. It comes with a 6.28-inch display and we expect it to be the upcoming OPPO R15 Plus smartphone.
As teased earlier, the device comes with notch display on the front and curved glass body on the rear. Instead of the under display fingerprint sensor, the OPPOR 15 Plus still comes with the same rear-facing fingerprint sensor. On the front is a 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and since it comes with a notch, it offers unusual 2280 × 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, we might see the 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card for expanding the storage up to 256GB. The OPPO R15 Plus will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Color OS laid on top.
Finally, we are seeing Chinese manufacturers catching up with other major manufacturers in adopting latest versions of Android OS. Even the Vivo APEX concept smartphone to runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The OPPO R15 smartphones also come with the standard 3.5 headphone jack. In the camera department, the smartphone sports a 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 20MP single selfie camera. We will be seeing all the basic connectivity options along with NFC for enabling mobile payments.
We hope OPPO switches from MicroUSB 2.0 port to the USB Type-C port. The OPPO R15 Plus measures 155.1 × 75.2 × 7.4 mm and weighs 175 grams. It will be backed by a 3,365mAh battery and will support VOOC fast charging. The listing mentioned the device to be available only in White and Blue color options. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
OPPO R15 Confirmed to Launch on March 31th OPPO will be launching the OPPO F7 smartphone on March 26th in India. It is said to be the worlds first smartphone to feature a 25MP front-facing camera. In China, the company will be unveiling the OPPO R15 smartphones with slightly better specifications. Today, OPPO has officially confirmed to launch the OPPO R15 smartphones on March 31st in China. Unlike the OPPO F7 devices, the OPPO R15 will be offering better specifications. The OPPO R15 smartphones will be the first to feature Sony latest IMX519 sensor.
The IMX519 sensor is mentioned as a high frame rate sensor that can capture photos faster and with more accurate details. While the previous gen IMX398 sensor came with 1.12um pixel size, the new IMX519 sensor offers 1.22um pixel size. The 1/2.8 inch IMX519 sensor also offers more surface area than a 1/3 inch IMX398 sensor. OPPO is also integrating the Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the camera app for capturing better photos with the front and rear cameras. While Vivo is also confirmed to introduced AR stickers with the OPPO V9 smartphone, OPPO will also offer animated stickers with the OPPO R15 devices. On the front is a 6.28-inch AMOLED notch display with FullHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution & 19:9 aspect ratio.
While the OPPO R15 comes powered by the all-new MediaTek HelioP60 processor, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror edition will come packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Unlike the standard variant, the Dream Mirror edition will come with curved glass back body. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!

Oppo India has released a teaser of the new smartphone, announcing the launch of its latest product.
As per the image posted by the company, the Oppo F7 will come with a full-screen display and an iPhone X-like notch. Oppo India made the announcement of Oppo F7's launch via Twitter with an image and a caption that reads as: "Make way for the all-new #OPPOF7 now with an awesome notch screen.

OnePlus 5T Images Leaked! Looks Like A Slightly Modified Oppo R11s
After the runaway success of OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T is the next highly-anticipated smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. The rumour mills are running over-time with the latest ‘juicy tidbits’.
Emerging among these, tech portal TECHPP has managed to get their hands on some screenshots from the manufacturer’s own website, which shows the OnePlus 5T in almost full glory.
They show an almost bezel-less display with the new, taller 18:9 ratio and a missing front fingerprint reader.

OnePlus 5T and Oppo R11s: The Resemblance Is Uncanny
The smartphone in the leaked pictures has equal top and bottom bezels with almost no side bezels. Overall, it looks a bit generic. Like almost all the phones with an infinity display available nowadays.

The thin top and bottom bezels leave no space for the fingerprint reader, which until the OnePlus 5 resided below the screen, at front. The leaked images do not show the back side of the phone.
Reports are suggesting that the OnePlus 5T bears a strong resemblance to the upcoming Oppo R11s, which is due to release on November 2. It does not come as a surprise since Oppo calls most of the shots at OnePlus.
The major differentiating factor between the 5T and R11s will be OnePlus’ alert slider.

OnePlus 5T: Expected Specifications
Rumours are suggesting that OnePlus has included a dual selfie setup on the 5T, which is a step up from the OnePlus 5’s single selfie camera.

One more major difference would be the processor. Where the R11s is expected to pack in a Snapdragon 660, the OnePlus 5T will definitely feature the Snapdragon 835.

The 5T’s 18:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ display is expected to measure 5.99 inch and is a step up from its predecessor’s full HD display.

The storage capacity and RAM will most probably remain the same, with possible combinations of 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB versions.

In Anticipation
Whatever storage the new model packs in, whether or not it features a dual selfie-camera setup, one thing is sure, after OnePlus 5, it is the most hotly anticipated OnePlus smartphone right now. And the OnePlus 5 has become the best-selling premium smartphone online in india.

Though the OnePlus 5 is going to be a tough act to follow, the OnePlus 5T appears to be up to the task. Only time will tell whether it can come out of its predecessor’s rather big shadow.

Let’s wait and watch.

Oppo launched its flagship phones R11 and R11 Plus a couple of days ago in China. While the company kept the pricing details to itself on the day of the launch, it did reveal them yesterday at a sponsored musical concert.

Check out the pricing details of Oppo R11 and R11 Plus
The Oppo R11 comes at a price tag of ¥2999 ($440) and the Oppo R11 Plus is priced at ¥3699 ($544). There is also a special Heat Red variant of the R11, which will be sold at ¥3199 ($470). All the devices will be available for purchase through various offline and online from June 16. Looking at the specs and features, it can be said that the Oppo phones are priced reasonably.

The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus are different only in terms of a few specifications. The Oppo R11 features a smaller 5.5-inch display and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB native storage space. Also, it has a 3000mAh battery under its hood. The Oppo R11 Plus being a larger variant sports a 6-inch FHD 1080p display and comes with 6GB RAM and the same 64GB storage space. The battery capacity of this device is a capacious 4000mAh battery unit. Other than that, both the phones come with same features. The smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 660 chipset. The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus have a rear dual camera setup, which is comprised of 20MP and 16MP sensors. Likewise, there is also a 20MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calls. The phones run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS topped with ColorOS 3.1 and supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and GPS.

A large battery life is one of the first few things that one looks for when buying a new smartphone. Realizing that, many smartphone manufacturers have been fuelling their products with hefty batteries, with 3,000mAh-4,000mAh capacity almost becoming a standard now.  Asus, however, has found a different approach to the demand.

Asus has launched the PowerMaster app for Zenfone 3 Max users, which is aimed to help them extend their battery life. Although Asus Zenfone 3 Max itself has a huge 4,100mAh battery, this app aims at enhancing that too. This app comes as part of a new Software upgrade, and will also be available for the older Zenfone Max range.
The PowerMaster app offers nine battery enhancing technologies, all of which cater to different user lifestyles. Essentially, with a range of battery saving modes, the app provides intelligent ways of charging, reducing energy consumption on unnecessary apps, and allows a better battery performance. ALSO READ: Asus Zenfone 3 Max vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Lenovo Vibe P1 vs Gionee Marathon M5
The five different battery modes allow intelligent battery saving capabilities, and two Smart Switches that are tailor-made to deliver benefits suitable to the user. The five Battery modes are – Performance mode, Normal mode, Power Saving mode, Super Saving mode and Customized mode. And the two Smart Switches comprise of Switch by Battery level and Switch by Schedule. All these modes allow intelligent battery saving.
Asus claims that its app will extend a battery’s longevity by charging the device intelligently to increase the amount of charge cycles the phone battery can normally support, and decreases the loss of capacity from the usual 15 percent to 7 percent. As a result, the battery ages slower while performing at its best.
Additionally, with this update, the Zenfone 3 Max users will be able to customize their device further. With a feature called Autostart Manager, Asus allows its users to select the start-up apps they really need, this way their battery doesn’t get unnecessarily consumed on apps they don’t even need. ALSO READ: Asus Zenfone 3 Max hands-on and first impressions
Also, with the update, the Zenfone 3 Max smartphones now also feature a Boost mode, which boosts battery backup by clearing all the background apps after an extended session. It keeps the memory clear and helps processor to cut down on processing unnecessary apps that may stay active in the background. This works somewhat in line with the autostart manager.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Max smartphones also feature something called Reverse Charge, which basically doubles the smartphone as a power bank. It allows charging of other USB Devices with an OTG cable. All a user need to do is plug in the OTG cable to the Zenfone 3 Max, and plug in the USB charging cable to the device that needs to be charged.
