Rumors for the Day:
- The finish of Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss’ match at Great Balls of Fire was changed at the last minute because WWE wants to use the reports the two women dislike each other in real life to extend their feud.
- Bray Wyatt going over Seth Rollins was also a late change, but the reasons there are less clear.
- A backstage source reportedly told Fightful that Brock Lesnar was “was really, really happy with Samoa Joe” after their match on Sunday, which is probably helping keep him in the mix for SummerSlam.
- Lei’D Tapa, Barbi Hayden, Jessica James, Santana Garrett and Miranda are all expected to be announced for the Mae Young Classic soon.
- Based on a trademark filing, looks like the Bella Twins cooking show we told you about last week will be called Bella Appetit.
Sunday night, WWE presented the best pay-per-view of 2017 so far in Great Balls of Fire, a Raw-exclusive event that brought to a head some of the most competitive rivalries in sports entertainment, ignited others and was headlined by a dream match pitting the baddest men in professional wrestling against each other for the Universal Championship.
Featuring strong in-ring work and extraordinary individual performances from some of the brightest stars in WWE, the show was everything fans expect from a high-profile pay-per-view extravaganza. It was wild, chaotic and though somewhat predictable, never feeling tired or boring.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
