The feature that was initially confined to top-end smartphones, has made its way to mid-range segment too. Courtesy, brands like Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and India's own Micromax buyers can now get smartphones with such screens under Rs 35,000.
OnePlus 5T is the newest to join the bandwagon. It comes in two variants, starting at Rs 32,999. The handset sports a 6.01-inch full HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) Optic Amoled display with a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
LG G6 smartphone was launched earlier this year and is the company’s flagship for 2017. It comes with an extended display and sports a 'FullVision' display that has a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels. LG G6 is presently available at Rs 33,990 on Amazon India's website.
Oppo F5 made its India debut earlier this month at Rs 19,990. The smartphone has the same extended screen like the ones mentioned above. The device features a 6-inch full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) resolution. The display is made scratch resistant with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
Vivo V7+ was launched in September this year at Rs 21,999 and features the 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It features a 5.99-inch full view HD display with 720x1440 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Gionee M7 Power is the company’s one of the first to feature a large display. Priced at Rs 16,999, the smartphone features a 6-inch full view display with 1440x720 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio with a 2.5D curved glass protection.
Honor 9i too is a new entry in the field of ‘bezel-less’ smartphones. It is priced cheaper than the V7+ at Rs 17,999. The smartphone sports a 5.9-inch Full View FHD+ (2160x1080p) display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
LG Q6+ is priced at almost same as Honor 9i. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch FullVision full HD display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution. The device is a larger version of the LG Q6, which too features an extended screen.
Micromax Canvas Infinity is the cheapest smartphone in our list. The smartphone comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. It is priced at Rs 9,999 and features a 5.7-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution and 18:9 screen ratio.
