Asus has unveiled its first smartphone in the 2018 Zenfone 5 lineup called Zenfone 5 Lite. As seen in rumors, the Zenfone 5 Lite sports dual cameras on the front and rear. The device sports metal frame with 2.5D glass laid on either side. As seen with the earlier Zenfone smartphones, the Zenfone 5 Lite also in few different variants.
The high-end variant sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and the other variant sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform. On the front is a 6-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage. Talking about the cameras, there are total four camera sensors on this device. On the rear, there is a dual camera setup with the 16MP primary sensor and wide-angle secondary sensor. For selfies, the Zenfone 5 Lite sports a 20MP primary sensor and wide-angle secondary sensor. The smartphone comes with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and also supports Face Unlock.
It supports dual SIM dual standby and comes with basic connectivity options. With all these specs, the Zenfoen5 Lite is backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support via USB Type-C port. The device runs on the latest Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 laid on top.
