In another news, specifications of the Moto E5, Moto E5 Play, and Moto E5 Plus have emerged online. All the three Moto E series entry-level devices are likely to be launched early next month. The debut of the Moto G6 Play at NCC has been confirmed through some leaked images, as reported by TrendyTechz.
The images show that the new handset has a design similar to the Moto X4, with two camera sensors on the back. The smartphone appears to feature an under 6-inch display panel, rumoured as a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) one, with thin bezels. Further, the images sourced from NCC highlight a Micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as confirm a back-facing fingerprint sensor. The smartphone also seems to sport a front-facing LED flash.
It is expected that the Moto G6 Play will come with a decent battery life. The smartphone is also rumoured to come in two variants, with 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage options. As per the specifications leaked surfaced on Geekbench, the new Moto G series handset will come with a Snapdragon 430 SoC and run Android 8.0 Oreo. Coming to the refreshed Moto E family, it has been rumoured that this new range will include the Moto E5, Moto E5 Play, and Moto E5 Plus.
Tipster Andri Yatim claims that the Moto E5 Plus will come in two variants, with Snapdragon 430 and MediaTek MT675X SoC options. He also reveals that the entire new Moto E range will come with dual rear camera setups. The Moto E5 is said to include a 5.5-inch HD display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear camera sensors, and a 3028mAh battery.
The Moto E5 Play, on the other hand, is rumoured to feature a 5.2-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, dual camera setup with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors, and 4000mAh battery. Lastly, the Moto E5 Plus is claimed to come with a 5.8-inch HD+ display, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor along with f/1.75 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor flaunting f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is also said to include NFC connectivity as well as a digital compass. Earlier this week, popular tipster Evan Blass leaked a press render of the Moto E5 Play that showcased its premium build with rounded corners, relatively thin bezels, and a glossy back. Lenovo hasn't confirmed any details about the launch of the new E or G series. Nevertheless, there are rumours that the Moto E range will be unveiled next month, as early as April 3.
