Germany vs Chile live score and goal updates from crunch Confederations Cup clash in Kazan
The two of the favourites for the Confederations Cup do battle in Kazan tonight.
Chile and Germany will go head-to-head after opening their respective campaigns with wins last time out.
Alexis Sanchez is set to return to Chile's starting line-up for the Group B clash.
The Arsenal star was on the bench for the encounter with Cameroon due to an ankle problem but set up Arturo Vidal's opener as the south American side won 2-0.
World champions Germany were far from their best as they edged past Australia.
Sanchez's club mate Shkodran Mustafi is expected to keep his place while Liverpool midfielder Emre Can could come in.
Kick-off in Kazan is at 7pm.
Germany starting XI: ter Stegen, Mustafi, Hector, Ginter, Draxler, Goretzka, Stindl, Can, Sule, Kimmich, Rudy
Chile starting XI: Herrera, Isla, Medel, Beausejour, Jara, Diaz, Aranguiz, Hernandez, Vidal, Vargas, Sanchez

Australia vs Cameroon

Mark Milligan’s second-half penalty meant Australia and Cameroon had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the Confederations Cup in St Petersburg.
Both sides were chasing a win after losing their opening fixtures in Group B, but an end-to-end match saw the two teams cancel each other out and effectively end their chances of progression.
Andre Anguissa opened the scoring in first-half stoppage-time as he raced onto a long ball from defender Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui which exposed Australia’s high back-line before poking the ball over the head of onrushing goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.
The lead was short-lived, however, as Alex Gersbach was brought down inside the area and Milligan despatched the spot-kick with precision after the video assistant referee (VAR) had ruled in favour of Australia.

Alexis Sanchez warms up

Alexis Sanchez is currently going through his paces in the warm up.
The striker is well and truly in the shop window - with Bayern Munich and Manchester City hovering.
Sanchez’s Arsenal contract runs out at the end of next season.
Although his priority tonight is to ensure Chile progress in the Confederations Cup.

Chile record

Alexis Sanchez will draw level with Claudio Bravo as the most capped Chilean.
Once the Arsenal striker steps onto the pitch it will be his 112 appearance on the international stage.
With plenty of football in both player’s legs you will image it will stay neck and neck for a while.
Manchester City keeper Bravo, who is currently injured, won’t get close to Sanchez’s 37 goals - you wouldn’t think.
Tonight’s game will be staged at the Kazan Arena, which is funnily enough in Kazan.
Portugal drew with Mexico in the only other game held there so far.
Six World Cup fixtures will be played at the Kazan Arena next summer.

Alexis Sanchez starts

The biggest news from the team sheet is that Alexis Sanchez starts for Chile.
The Arsenal man started the first game of the tournament against Cameroon on the bench - due to an ankle injury.
He came on in the second half and created both goals in that 2-0 win.
Sanchez, who has arrived at the stadium as you can see in the below snap, will be up against current club team mate Mustafi.
Will they still be playing together next season though?

Welcome

No wonder Alexis Sanchez is a man in such demand.
Shkodran Mustafi has hailed rare and world class talent Sanchez in a glowing tribute to his Arsenal team-mate. And as he revealed just how difficult it is to stop one of football’s most feared attackers, Mustafi underlined just why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are jostling to sign him but why he is also so desperate for Sanchez to stay at Arsenal.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are among the clubs battling it out to try to prise Sanchez away from the Gunners.
At the same time, the North Londoners are trying to persuade him that his future lies at the Emirates and to sign the new deal on the table, which is worth more than £275,000-a-week .
Defender Mustafi said: “Of course I hope he stays. It would be a pity to lose him.
“Alexis is an exceptional player — for me one of the best in world football. I have experienced few players who are as hungry as him.
“He is nimble, agile, but despite his size very sturdy, and can dribble past players. Alexis is a complete player.”

Travis Cloke taking a break from footy to deal with mental health issues
The key forward last played in the round 12 loss to Sydney, missing Sunday's loss to Melbourne at Etihad.
An announcement about Cloke's situation was made on the Bulldogs website on Thursday night. "Western Bulldogs forward Travis Cloke will take an indefinite break from playing as he manages mental health issues," the club said.
"Travis is very appreciative of how the club and his team mates have supported him and he will continue to take part in the training program as he manages the issue.  A potential return to play date is undetermined at this stage. The media is asked to respect Travis's privacy at this time."
Despite two heavy losses in a row, the reigning premiers have resisted wholesale change for the match. Boyd joins Lin Jong (knee) in coming out of the side that lost to Melbourne on Sunday, with ruckman Tom Campbell and key forward Jack Redpath returning. It's understood Boyd could have played had the Dogs had an eight-day break rather than a six-day gap.
Captain Bob Murphy remains sidelined as he works his way back from a hamstring injury suffered before the recent mid-season bye, while former skipper Matthew Boyd is poised to spend a second straight weekend on the outer, not even named as one of the Dogs' three emergencies. The Dogs (6-6) have lost four of their past five games to fall out of the top eight, with their chances of back-to-back premierships appearing increasingly slim.

All-iPhone Virgin Mobile offers year of unlimited data for $1
Virgin Mobile has come out as a total Apple fanboy.
Virgin, one of the prepaid arms of Sprint, said at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday that it would stop selling Android phones and exclusively focus on iPhones. To sweeten the deal, Virgin said the first year of unlimited talk, text messages and data will cost $1, and customers will get perks like a free companion ticket for a round-trip flight to the UK on Virgin Atlantic.
The service, dubbed Inner Circle, begins Tuesday, but you can preorder phones starting today.
The move marks a radical shift for what had been a ho-hum prepaid carrier steamrolled by similar competitors like T-Mobile's MetroPCS and AT&T's Cricket Wireless. By going all-in on iPhones, Virgin Mobile is trying to lift its reputation and go after wealthier customers. The move also gets Virgin Mobile into Apple's retail stores, the first time a prepaid carrier has had a presence there.
Virgin's $1 offer is less jaw-dropping after parent Sprint offered a year of free service. But the key difference is the Sprint offer is a low-key, limited experiment, while Virgin's deal is the new norm, according to Dow Draper, CEO of Virgin Mobile USA.
"It's not often as a brand you get a chance to reposition yourself," he said in an interview Tuesday. "We know you gotta have a compelling offer."
o qualify for the service, you need to buy an iPhone from an Apple store or through the Virgin Mobile site. After the year is up, the service reverts to $50 a month. After two years of service, Virgin will offer six months for $1 if customers buy a new iPhone.
The iPhone-only model could be an impediment to many of Virgin's traditionally budget-conscious customers. The iPhone SE starts at $279, while the cheapest phone previously available at Virgin was an $80 LG phone (which ended up being $50 with a discount). In the fall, Virgin will begin selling used iPhones that range from $199 to $449, Draper said.
Virgin's national retail partners will continue to sell Android phones under an existing agreement, but Draper said he's working to phase that out.
Sprint's "free" offer did include a number of fees, and Virgin's is no different. The $1 annual fee is broken up into 12 monthly payments, and there's a tax on that amount. In addition, customers are responsible for local, state and federal taxes typically associated with phone service.

New perks

Virgin will tout its new service with several perks available until Sept. 30. Here's a list beyond the free companion ticket:
  • One night's stay at a Virgin Hotel
  • A $170 savings on an introductory offer to Virgin Wines club
  • Up to 20 percent off flights on Virgin America
  • 20 percent off the Virgin Sport San Francisco Festival of Fitness
"Our offer of iPhone combined with perks from a host of companies in the Virgin family plus Virgin's world-famous service and great value will be irresistible for our members," Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, said in a statement.

How does this work?

Much like the Sprint offer, Virgin is able to afford to give away its service for $1 because it's cutting several costs out of the business. By relying only on Apple's retail presence and its own website, it doesn't have to deal with the cost of staff. There's no need for phone subsidies, since customers need to buy their own iPhone.
Unlike other prepaid services, Virgin's unlimited data falls in line with Sprint's offer, which means full 4G LTE speeds till a customer hits 23 gigabytes and a congested network.
"We tried to make this as gimmick-free and hassle-free as possible," Draper said.
Virgin's $50 unlimited data offer is $10 cheaper than Sprint, and lower than the rest of the industry. It's that low price that has Draper willing to bet that customers will stick around after the first year. One of the reasons he decided to go all-in on iPhone was because Apple users tend to be more loyal.
The offer is available to both new and existing Virgin customers, but those who wish to stick with their old plan can do so, Draper said.

A badly needed shakeup

If you were looking for prepaid wireless service, you probably weren't looking in Virgin's direction.
Draper described Virgin Mobile's business as "ho-hum," and as the rest of the Virgin business evolved, mobile was stuck in a rut.
In addition to Virgin, Sprint's other prepaid arm is Boost Mobile.
"This was not a long term, sustainable position for the brand," Draper said about the old Virgin.
That's when he got Virgin's Branson and Apple involved.
"The new Inner Circle offer is a fun idea, and Virgin Mobile customers are going to love having the best, most advanced iPhones ever," Philip Schiller, head of marketing at Apple, said in a statement.

CWS: LSU defeats Florida State in NCAA Tournament
Jared Poche' comes up huge in history-making start for LSU in College World Series

The first pitch Jared Poche' threw Wednesday night made him LSU's new all-time leader in games started, and the 27th out of the game made him the program's leader in wins.
None of the left-hander's 39 victories could compare to the one he had in front of 22,872 fans at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. Sure, he's had better stat lines than his eight-inning, four-run affair Wednesday — the senior even threw a no-hitter to begin the season. But the fearlessness, poise and command Poche' had from the get-go against Florida State has the Tigers playing in the Bracket 1 finals this weekend.
"He put the team on his shoulders and carried us to the promised land," LSU coach Paul Mainieri said. "There was a lot riding on this ballgame tonight, and Poche' was a cool customer and just went out there and pitched as well as I've ever seen him pitch."
There was no questioning how locked in he was from the very beginning, striking out a pair to begin the game. That 10-pitch first inning allowed his offense to relax a little, and a giant five-run frame followed.
Effiency was the name of the game for the senior. In his eight-plus innings, he never threw more than 16 pitches. He walked just two guys against one of the best lineups in the country when it comes to getting on base, and he held the Seminoles to an 0-for-2 mark with runners in scoring position and forced three double plays.
"The biggest thing working was my fastball. It was probably the best it's been all season," Poche' said. "I was able to put pitches where I wanted pretty much all night."
Back-to-back home runs in the ninth soured his final stats a bit and ended his bid for his first complete game since 2015, but with a five-run cushion coming into the inning, there were nothing but roars of approval coming from the LSU faithful behind the first-base dugout as he exited the game.
"Jared was rough on us," Florida State coach Mike Martin Sr. said. "He pitched a beautiful ballgame, and he kept performing. And you tip your hat to him, he's a very good competitor."
There were 1,221 days between the first career start for Poche' — a six-inning, scoreless gem against Grambling that was a good sign of what was to come for the freshman — and his clutch, record-setting start in Omaha. Mainieri trusted him with the start for the 69th time Wednesday, a new LSU record.
"If you would have told me four years ago before I started my career at LSU that in four short years that you're going to be in Omaha and you're going to break the all-time wins record, there's no way I would have believed that," Poche' said.
His career numbers immediately jump off the page: A 39-12 record with a 3.07 ERA. And his consistency has been astounding, putting up nearly identical numbers over each of the four seasons.
The left arm of his certainly gets him places — such as a ninth-round selection by the Oakland Athletics last week in the MLB draft — but it's not everything. His fastball is far from overpowering, and his breaking stuff doesn't completely vanish in the box. But he mixes his pitches well, hits his spots, and goes out ready to compete each night with a warrior's mentality.
"He has more than just the ability to pitch," said four-year teammate Kramer Robertson. "He's got something else inside him that makes him special, and there's a reason he's won more games than anyone else to put on this jersey. It's been an honor to be his teammate, and I'm going to be forever thankful for that."
In order for his college career to extend to start No. 70, LSU will have to beat Oregon State two nights in a row, an extremely tough assignment against a team that has won 23 straight games and embarrassed these same Tigers 13-1 Monday night. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. ET.

Sketchy references found in HTC U11 reveal possible codenames for HTC-made Pixel 2
On the HTC side, last year’s Pixel and Pixel XL were internally codenamed S1 and M1, respectively. With HTC widely assumed to be manufacturing at least one Pixel device this year, possible codenames have surfaced and point to the use of a Snapdragon 835 processor and unlocked configuration.

This news comes after HTC Soku (translation), a Japanese blog, took a look at the HTC U11’s system files. In addition to listing international variants of the Ocean — the codename for the U11 — there are references to S2 and M2 devices.

Given last year’s naming pattern, it is likely that these codenames are for the smaller ‘walleye’ Pixel successor and the reportedly canned ‘muskie’ Pixel XL. Assuming that the codenames do correspond to this year’s upcoming phones, HTC Soku makes two assumptions.

As the other devices on the list use the Snapdragon 835 processor, the same can be assumed for the S2 and M2. Additionally, both of those models do not feature carrier configurations, pointing to unlocked devices.

It’s best to take this references with a grain of salt, but they very much fall in-line with expectations for Google’s 2017 flagship devices.  While the HTC-developed muskie has been rumored to be scrapped for a larger ‘taimen’ device manufactured by LG, this information still stands for the next, smaller Pixel.

Lenovo Is Making A Retro ThinkPad
It's taken a couple of years but Lenovo is planning to release a retro-styled ThinkPad that brings back the style of the 1990s with 21st century computing power. If it's really like the ThinkPads of old, it will be a very robust computer with the best keyboard on the market and be able to withstand some heavy duty action - those computers were built to last.
First announced a couple of years ago, the new retro ThinkPad will mark the 25th anniversary of the ThinkPad.
While all the speeds and feeds are still under wraps - Lenovo doesn't comment on unreleased products - the existence of the device was revealed during an event in New York

David Hill, one of the principle designers of the ThinkPad said, in a recent blog post, the new ThinkPad will be branded with the old multi-coloured logo. He said:
It has a wonderful black rubberized coating, three TrackPoint caps, and a keyboard to die for. I will proudly carry one.
The first corporate laptop I ever had was a ThinkPad, then made by IBM before they sold their PC business to Lenovo. When it came to portable computing, the ThinkPad was the peak of design experimentation. During my three years working at a large dairy company I was fortunate enough to use several different ThinkPads. A couple really stood out.
The IBM ThinkPad 701c was famous for its "butterfly" keyboard. Released in 1995, this computer had a 10.4-inch display. In order for IBM to fit a full keyboard into this small body, they separated it into two halves. When you flipped the LCD open, the keyboard opened out and the two halves joined delivering a full-sized keyboard that hung over the edges of the computer's chassis. It was like magic.
The other was the ThinkPad 755CDV. Like the 701c, it also had a 10.4-inch display. But, and remember this was in the day when a projector for presentations was about as large as an ICBM and cost thousands of dollars, the back of the screen snapped off and you could place the 755CDV on to an overhead projector. The light from the projector would pass though the LCD and be displayed up on a big screen.
While we talk about innovation, back in the 1990s the notion of the modern laptop computer was still evolving. IBM was a huge part of the evolution of portable computing. It'll be interesting to see how Lenovo's '90s throwback compares.

People across the globe are now realizing the importance of exercise and yoga. And so, since 2014 now, June 21 is recognized as the International Yoga Day worldwide.

Nokia rebrands Withings health devices
A Nokia rebranding of Withings products has been on the cards since the firm announced its intentions at the last Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. From now on, Nokia will be selling all of the Withings connected devices under its own name after buying the French manufacturer in 2016.
Nokia's newly branded health offering includes smart, connected devices such as watches, scales, a thermometer and blood pressure monitors, all designed for daily monitoring of parameters such as physical activity, weight, blood pressure, sleep, heart rate and more.
Depending on the models, Nokia's connected scales can monitor heart rate or measure body composition. Nokia Steel watches track daytime activity and sleep. The brand's connected thermometer has 16 infrared (IR) sensors which take temperature readings from the temple on the side of the head. These sensors can take up to 4,000 readings in two seconds while an algorithm ensures the most accurate possible temperature reading. In fall 2017, Nokia will add a connected hair brush to the range. Hair Coach, which caused a sensation at the last CES in Las Vegas early this year, can analyze the quality of the user's mane.
The Nokia Health Mate app offers a complete history of all the user's health data. It can monitor trends and help users follow wellness programs and reach goals to lose weight, reduce blood pressure, stay active or improve sleep. Health Mate is billed as a veritable coach, collecting all the data necessary each day to help users improve their health. With this complete range of health devices, users can check and monitor all kinds of health-related data on a daily basis. Products are available worldwide.

The OnePlus 5’s best feature is its ‘reading mode’
The OnePlus 5 became official today, and we wrote a a review earlier today, which you can check out here. But I want to highlight one particular feature of a phone that, however small, was pretty unique and very awesome: The “Reading Mode.

Basically, it’s a simple visual filter that tries to imitate physical books and e-readers. Devices like the Amazon Kindle use reflective screen technologies, meaning they reflect the color temperature of the light source around you, be it the sun, a lamp, or a disco party light of.

Phones, on the other hand are emissive. They create their own light, which lets them display fancy things like magical moving pictures. Unfortunately, that colorful light is often distracting and is strongly linked to sleep deprivation.

OnePlus’ reading mode basically tries to mimic a reflective screen using an emissive one. It does so in a similar way to Apple’s True Tone technology on the iPad Pro, adjusting the screen’s color temperature to match your ambient light. Unlike Apple’s, implementation, however it also makes your screen go greyscale, and that makes it much more awesome in my book.

I do a lot of reading on my phone. As in, the vast majority of it. But using Reading Mode on the OnePlus 5 made me realize how easy it is to get distracted by all the colors on the typical phone’s screen. In Wikipedia, blue links tempt me to go on endless tangents. YouTube’s bright red and Facebook’s deep blue make me forget what I might’ve opened the launcher for. And a cacophony of notifications make sure there’s always something else to distract me.

To my surprise, reading mode does a decent job of helping me ignore those distractions. My eyes are no longer drawn to whatever the most saturated thing on my screen is, so navigating my phone feels a little more purposeful. It’s easier to ignore notifications when reading manga or e-books, and ads become much less bothersome when browsing the web. You can set it to only activate on individual apps, but I often found myself preferring to just leave it on for hours on end or and prefer to actively turn it on via the Quick Settings menu.

Since the whites are matched pretty decently to ambient light, and quickly adapt to changing lighting it feels a little easier on the eyes too. It’s still obvious you’re looking at a phone screen in really lowlight, and sometimes the display is a bit overzealous in warming whites. But in normal indoors lighting or in the average daylight, it makes everything a bit easier to read, and does a good enough job to make me forget I’m connected to the entire world in the palm of my hands. Sometimes, that’s a good thing.

Of course, this is a personal anecdote. It’s a small feature, and your mileage may vary, but I’d be glad to see similar feature make their way over to more devices.

LG unveils the G6+ with more storage and 'turbocharged' sound
LG has announced a new version of its G6 flagship smartphone that includes a larger storage capacity, improved audio capabilities and new software features. The updated phone brings iterative changes to the original and will be available worldwide.

The imaginatively named "G6+" was announced by LG today. The phone retains the same 5.7-inch QHD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 13MP dual rear-camera as the first G6. Internal changes have been limited to a significantly increased storage capacity (up to 128GB from 32GB or 64GB) and a new 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

The DAC should deliver superior audio performance with subtler details and clearer bass. Since audio quality is always subjective, the presence of the DAC won’t necessarily be noticed by consumers. Audiophiles will be pleased by the addition though. LG will also be bundling a pair of B&O PLAY earphones in the box to fully utilise the capabilities of the DAC.

Beyond the minor changes to the phone's hardware, LG is introducing two new colours for the G6+. These are Optical Marine Blue and Optical Terra Gold. The "optical" portion of the name refers to the lenticular film surface. According to LG, this creates a "mesmeric optical effect" for a distinctive look and feel.

LG has developed a comprehensive set of software features to accompany the new phone. Layered on top of Android 7.0 Nougat, the company has updated its LG UX 6.0 Android skin to include new capabilities that expand on what's already possible with the G6.

A new "Face Print" biometric authentication technique will let you unlock the phone by holding it in front of your face. There's no need to press any buttons and the procedure takes "less than one second." LG claims the system is "more convenient" than rival facial recognition systems. It hasn't detailed how it works or provided images of the technology in action.

In the camera app, LG has added a Covered Lens warning that alerts you if your finger is encroaching on the frame. The company said that the wide-angle lens of the G6 has led some users to inadvertently include their hand in photos.

The phone will now display a warning if an obstruction is detected. LG hasn't said whether this can be disabled or if it will prevent the shutter from firing. In some instances, the covered lens warning could lead to you missing a shot entirely if it actively prevents you from taking photos.

LG said the new capabilities will help to differentiate the G6 against the crowd. The already popular device will now stand out more on store shelves, including double the storage capacity, a "turbocharged" DAC and an eye-catching revised visual finish.

"LG's G series has always been about offering innovation and technology that we believe will appeal to as many customers as possible," said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "By expanding the G6 lineup with differentiating features and colors, consumers will have even more options to consider when shopping for a new smartphone."

The LG G6+ will go on sale later this year in a range of regions worldwide where the G6 is currently sold. Pricing and exact availability hasn't yet been announced. LG's UX software update will also land in the coming months. It'll be preinstalled on the G6+ and available as an over-the-air update on existing G6 devices.

Another malware attack affects Android users
Hell is onto us. Well, not literally, but figuratively yes. Remember the WannaCry incident which infected a lot of systems worldwide. Now it looks like more Android users have been exposed to being hacked through apps which were published in the Google Play Store.

According to security company Trend Micro, their report warns that they discovered more than 800 apps published in the Google Play Store that are infected by Xavier, a form of malware that was originally discovered nearly two years ago, but which has since evolved to get more capabilities which is worrying for users.

The app Xavier comes pre-installed in every form of free apps like photo-editors and wallpapers, and the firm has stated that these apps have already recorded millions of downloads on the Play Store.

Also, Xavier can now steal pretty much any data from an infected device and collect information such as email addresses, app files, SIM card information, and even messages. Even though Asian users were mostly the target of this reinvented version of Xavier, with the biggest number of infections spotted in Vietnam and Indonesia, the security firm says that it also detected downloads of infected apps in the United States and Europe, though in this case the number of substantially smaller.

Users are advised not to download these apps if they do not appear to come from a legitimate source, even if they are on the Google Play Store. Google will most likely remove these apps soon.

More Android apps from dangerous Ztorg family sneak into Google Play
For the second time this month, Google has removed Android apps from its Google Play marketplace. Google did so after a security researcher found the apps contained code that laid the groundwork for attackers to take administrative "root" control of infected devices.

"Magic Browser," as one app was called, was uploaded to Google's official Android App bazaar on May 15 and gained more than 50,000 downloads by the time it was removed, Kaspersky Lab Senior Research Analyst Roman Unuchek said in a blog post published Tuesday. Magic Browser was disguised as a knock-off to the Chrome browser. The other app, "Noise Detector," purported to measure the decibel level of sounds, and it had been downloaded more than 10,000 times. Both apps belong to a family of Android malware known as Ztorg, which has managed to sneak past Google's automated malware checks almost 100 times since last September.

Most Ztorg apps are notable for their ability to use well-known exploits to root infected phones. This status allows the apps to have finer-grain control and makes them harder to be removed. Ztorg apps are also concerning for their large number of downloads. A Ztorg app known as Privacy Lock, for instance, received one million installations before Google removed it last month, while an infected Pokémon Go guide racked up 500,000 downloads before its removal in September.

Earlier this month, Google removed a game called colourblock after Kaspersky Lab's Unuchek found it contained code dubbed DVmap that attempted to gain root. To evade detection by Google, DVmap developers initially uploaded a clean version of the game to Play and later updated it to add malicious functions. Unuchek has warned that the rooting processes used by malicious rooting apps can often harm the phones because the apps can overwrite crucial files and folders.

Magic Browser and Noise Detector didn't actually root the phones, but the Ztorg digital fingerprints in both apps led Unuchek to theorize that the app developers were in the process of adding the capability to one or both of the apps gradually in an attempt to evade detection. In the meantime, the researcher said, the developers were using Magic Browser to either test or actively use malicious text-messaging functions. The app had the ability to send premium text messages to attacker-controlled numbers. To keep users in the dark, the app could also delete incoming texts and turn off the device sound.

"So I think that the authors are still testing this malware, because they use some techniques which can break the infected devices," Unuchek wrote. "But they already have a lot of infected users on whom to test their methods. I hope that by uncovering this malware at such an early stage, we will be able to prevent a massive and dangerous attack when the attackers are ready to actively use their methods."
