Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Greek God’ features have been the reasons for him being roped to play historical characters. If reports are to be believed the actor has been approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to portray Lord Shiva in his next movie. According to reports, SLB’s next movie is a film adaptation of Amish Tripathi’s book Immortals Of Meluha. It is the part of a three book series, The Shiva Trilogy written by Tripathi.

Immortals of Meluha which is happened to be the first novel of Shiva trilogy by Amish Tripathi, chronicles the arrival of lord Shiva in the land of Meluha and his tale of marriage with Goddess Parvati. 

Earlier, the movie was scheduled to be helmed by Karan Johar and Bhansali expressed his interest in the project after the rights bought by Johar was expired and he surrendered to them. 

Being asked about the same Tripathi said, "The contract had expired. There were various issues but Karan and I have parted as friends."

Since ever the movie is in talks, several Bollywood biggies have also walked in and out of the project. 'Dabang' actor Salman Khan, B-town dancing sensation Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff are among those stars. 

However, leaving them all behind the 'Krrish' actor is currently all set to make his second collaboration with Bhansali. Previously, both the stars joined hands for the 2010 Indian drama 'Guzaarish'. 

On the work front, while Bhansali is at present gearing up for his forthcoming period drama 'Padmavati', Hrithik will be next seen in Rakesh Roshan directorial 'Krrish 4'. 

The 4th sequel of 'Krrish' which is expected to feature Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik, will hit the screens in 2018.

Shamanthakamani belongs to the former. The story is woven around one crime episode and ensuing events are narrated, ultimately unfolding the mystery behind the crime.

A costly 5 Cr car Shamantakamani is stolen. Who stole the car and why, is what the film is all about?

It is easy to grab people's attention with four actors playing the lead characters. But to write an engaging screenplay by giving equal importance to all the characters is not that easy. Sriram Adittya clearly struggled to come up with an engaging screenplay. 

He took so much time to introduce all the characters and establish a motive for them to take up crime. We cannot root for any of the characters including Sudheer's who has an emotional back story. Director takes his own sweet time to get to the point of crime. 

Car is stolen at the intermission point which is a perfect setting for engaging second half. Interrogation process seems interesting but none of the perspective stories of Rajendra Prasad, Sundeep and Aadi makes an impact after knowing them. Only point that hooks is the suspense about who has stolen the car. 

Final reveal is cliched sans logic, but the finishing to all the characters is entertaining. Except for the ending Shamanthakamani doesn't give a satisfactory feeling at any point of time. It is a very lame script with good setting and casting. Films like these have limited appeal and it will be hard to please the genre fans with such lackluster script.

Production values are pretty good as the film mostly runs in the night mode and the camera man showcased the proceedings in a rich light. Dialogues are fun and so was the background score by Mani Sharma. Editing is pretty decent as the crisp run time helps the proceedings big time. 

Coming to the director Sriram Aditya, he has chosen a simple story but wrote his characters well. He also scores for choosing noted heroes and this is where the film clicks as the presence of these stars makes the proceedings even more interesting. Direction wise, Samantakamani is a better film than Bhale Manchi Roju.

• Even though Sundeep Kishan’s role was small, his experience and screen presence elevate the proceedings quite decently. Aadi does well in his role. Characters like these which suit his age and image will surely take him higher.
• One of the biggest plus points for the film is the interesting story line. Even though the point is old, the way the story has been set up amidst different characters is very impressive. All the heroes get equal parts in the film as director Sriram has etched out everyone’s role quite convincingly. If Rajendra Prasad’s role evokes good fun throughout, Sudheer Babu’s emotional quotient in his performance is good and one can connect to this role on a personal level.
• Comedian Raghu gets a meaty role and all his investigative and comedy scenes with Nara Rohit are decent. Rohit is pretty solid in his cop avatar and brings a depth to the film. The second half is where all the fun begins as the film is ended quite well with proper justification. Indraja and Rajendra Prasad’s track is well written.

• After starting the film on an interesting note, director Sriram Aditya goes into every character’s flashback and their stories. Not that it is bad, but they are a bit slow and take away the interest of the viewer to know what happened to the car.
• There was scope of much comedy in many areas but the director stuck to the plot and made it run on a flat note at some places. As nothing much happens during the first half, some commercial elements could have been easily added.

According to reports, Ajay has given his nod to appear in a special cameo in the film, which will also mark his debut in Marathi cinema. The actor is also the producer of the film. To be directed by well-known filmmaker Satish Rajwade, the untitled project is touted to be a family drama, featuring Sumeet Raghavan and Iravati Harshe as the main leads.

Talking to a leading tabloid, Rajwade said, “I’ve been discussing the film with Abhinav for over a year now. We’ve always wanted to work together and I’m happy to be collaborating with him. Ajay and Nana are superstars and I’m really excited to be working with such powerhouse talents.”

After the film was announced, quite a few names had surfaced. While some said Shraddha Kapoor will continue, there were some who said Kriti Sanon. But eventually both of them refuted.  

The female cast not finalized yet for Baaghi 2. But news is that between Jacqueline Fernandez or Kriti Sanon may be cast opposite Tiger.  

According to reports, Tiger Shroff may be portraying the character of an Army officer in the sequel and just like its prequel, this film will also have high-octane action sequences and stunts.

If the news is confirmed, this will be the first time that the alleged real-life couple will be seen together onscreen. The film is to be directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is slated to go on floors in July.

The 1st part of the series “Koi… Mil Gaya” is a 2003 Bollywood science fiction film directed by Rakesh Roshan (who also has a cameo role), starring Hrithik Roshan, Rekha and Preity Zinta. 

Koi… Mil Gaya was the most successful Bollywood film of 2003 and swept the Best Picture, Best Director (Rakesh Roshan) and Best Actor (Hrithik Roshan) awards in all major award ceremonies of 2003 including the Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, Screen Awards, etc.

Golmaal Again is an upcoming Indian Action Comedy film directed and co-produced by Rohit Shetty. It features Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles with Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Tabu, Prakash Raj, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu and Neil Nitin Mukesh in supporting roles. Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of the Golmaal film franchise.

The production of the film began in July 2016 and principal photography commenced in March 2017 in Mumbai. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release in October 2017, to coincide with Diwali.Music Rights are acquired by Sony Music India.

Golmaal Again will clash at the box office along with Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar. The film was earlier scheduled to release with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0. However, due to delay in production work, 2.0 will now hit the theatres in January next year.

The film was Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, starring actors Ajay, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. According to a report by Times of India, Tabu will be essaying the role of a 'cool' orphanage matron. She will be playing a very pivotal role in holding the story together. The report further says that her character will have rib-tickling punchlines and some amount of seriousness as well. It is speculated that apparently this combination of laughter and seriousness required in the role is what lured the National Award-winning actress to consider the film.
